I grabbed 10 just before I hopped down to CW, I've smelted and spent it, however I have a vei. On the way back I can crack open to replace it :p
I'm returning with rails,  a stack of buckets, bars, and I might spend done time gathering more iron on the way. So iron and diamond too.
And shiny new armour for myself.
Btw I snapped up some absolute bargain basement slime balls, when I get access to a factory I'll make a batch, hoppers too. I'll put both into the store but when we need them for construction I'll just hop on the rails.

Final Results - Constitution Popularity Poll
Zanzetkuken's Constitution: 6
Elephant Parade's Constitution: 3
InsanityIncarnate's Constitution: 4
Cerapter's Constitution: 6

Next poll: When should we reveal our existence to Civcraft?

If people would prefer, I could put up a poll between Zanzetkuken and Cerapter.

A more pressing poll might be design of the main chamber.

Also, anyone want to get on and help me start digging the upper portion? Regardless of design, that will have to be dug.

Please inform me of what the possible designs are; I'll write up a poll.

On an unrelated note, I'm nearly finished with my new constitution.

Does it seem fine? I'm not sure if council members and the king have too much voting power (it might be better to reduce their votes to 1.5 and 2, respectively).

I guess I'll make a cleaner version of my constitution.

I'm fine with that council system, though the votes will be grossly in favor of the king/leaders untill we get more members.

Hmm. Maybe the number of council members should be 1/3 of the active population? We could have a roll-call each election.

At the moment that would make the entire council the King, Defence, economic, construction, agriculture. because we don't excatly have more than 15 active members :P

Yeah. A small government is good, in terms of speedy decision making and lower upkeep.
Speaking of which:

This is functionally identical to my previous proposal, but more exhaustive and easier to read/understand (I hope).
I'm also leaving out the "districts" nonsense as well, because that's only relevant in the long term, and by then the government could just as easily overrule it anyway.

Can one of you design buffs build a factory room? We can't move factories, so we can't build temporary versions of the more expensive ones.

What level should it be at? I'm thinking layer 15 up to layer 23, with it wrapping around the central area in a donut shape.

This is why we need to decide on the main chamber sooner rather than later, since so much stuff hinges upon its design. However, if we need this right now, I think I know where to put it.

How many factories are there? I know they occupy a 3x1x1 space, but how many does the room need to accommodate?

Dome isn't out of the race yet, and the bottom of it is going to be 40-50.
