Finally finished reading that imgur album. It was... an experience.
Also, I'm currently neutral on the matter, but I'm in half a mind to just start supporting the wizards. Of course, I don't really know them, and this is the first time I've heard of them, so I'm not immediately going to support them actively, but still. Read that album, and tell me some of the arguments aren't well presented.

As for reddit, mods are power tripping since day one, and they always censor things they don't like. It happened in worldnews, news, gaming, ....

Boards that have anything to do with politics are populated with extremists expressing worldviews that are pretty much never encountered IRL (r/mensright pretty much hate women, the SRS network idlolize anything they perceive as a minority, r/socialism is full of old school marxist that cry everytime you mention social democracy, r/libertarians want to abolish governements, r/gunpolitics scream bloody murder if you mention that children shouldn't handle assault rifles, the anti gun subreddit want to ban all guns ...) and go on a witch hunt every two days. What is interesting is that it allow you to know immediatly and with 100% accuracy if you're in front of them : for an sjw, reddit is full of mra and vice-versa, same things with guns right.

Remember that the original use of the term was totes for real serious though! Then the meme appropriated it as a joke! I think we get it was an inside joke. Well. The thing about 'censorship' is that although it can be troubling, it doesn't automatically mean the people who are getting their stuff deleted are in the right. Hell, even if they aren't personally doing bad things it could still be in the right to delete what they make, just because it's clearly such a flamey topic. (IE, how My Little Pony threads are banned on bay12.) And yeah, the internet is absolutely full of terrible people who will do terrible things for terrible reasons. And saying "everyone disagrees with me" isn't proof of a conspiracy. It could just mean you are wrong. Like I said, it depends on what you mean by mass, but it really does seem more likely that this is just awful people doing awful things and getting mad about it then some massive conspiracy to censor bad press for a free indie game. As for proof? I haven't seen anything for ether side. I could look it up maybe, but I really don't care enough. So all I have to go on is pattern recognition and what's in this thread. Which is mostly just you. And no offense man, but that doesn't look good for the anti Zoe side.

So, SO much. It attracts a lot haters, who generally turn things to shit when they get worked up about how people might enjoy watching a cartoon with ponies in it, AND it attracts a lot of messed up folk who enjoy the process of "corrupting" things intended for children. Those two groups alone are enough to basically make it a terrible idea to even talk about it, so let's talk no more of it here.

Totally with you, Something Evil.  I don't condone any personal attacks of any kind or whatever the hell doxxing is, but Quinn's actions have discredited her whole platform and the people defending her from more than the nastiness need a reality check.  I hope the "news" sites in question and the gaming media in general get their act together.

Everyone on the internet has put themselves out in public view at one time or another, but to trade on that and make it your business requires a lot of self control and self awareness, which Quinn does not have.  There are many young women who have made successful careers in just this field, and Quinn is no where near the most successful among them.  Felicia Day is extremely open about feminine sexuality, in the Guild and on Vaginal Fantasy bookclub, and she is far more popular and respected than Quinn.  Quinn has been playing everyone, and they bought it.  I can't believe the censorship and media-silence that has followed such an unimportant dev around... probably because these sites bought her story too and they don't wanna admit to being gullible.
