Louis progressively slides further and further down the staff, leaning more heavily against it as it pivots upon the ground to accommodate his weight. "Fuck me. I'm too young to deal with this shit. The hell happened to this world? I mean, I know it was kinda shit to begin with but things were looking up and people like us probably didn't need to worry 'bout demigods who ought to be bangin' constellations deciding instead to go gank a mate."

Well, anyways, the point I'm trying to get at, is that people ought to be happy with the recent shit. I mean, you'd think that they'd like the ideas of gods and whatnot. 'pparently not. The way I see things is, we haven't really adjusted at all and chances are, we don't want to. Religions, belief and all that other stuff all gave life some sort of special importance, some sort of reason to live (plus the uncertainty of death also helps quite a bit). Issue is, we see the gods, that all right and all, but they're fucking useless. I mean, they seem like alright guys overall, but there's nothing about them that gives existence much of a meaning like they did when they were all mysterious and crap. Plus, since we all know what awaits us when we die, there's no damn uncertainty. We evolved to fear death, we developed to fear death and I guess we've just sorta blown loud everywhere in front of everything seeing as death, well, it doesn't seem like that big of a deal. I mean, none of the afterlives seem that bad, hell, not even Hell itself if whatsherface is to be believed. I guess this all just make our lives that much more pointless if you get what I'm saying, I mean, I know it's a pretty dickish thing to say but it doesn't really seem to matter much if Marcus gets ganked. I mean, there'd probably be some way to keep in touch with him so it isn't like it's any worse than him moving to another academy or something.

Tom is...still running from something. He drops to the ground and slides behind a wall nearby Louis and Mitsuru, leaning out to look back at where he came from. He either hasn't noticed them, or doesn't care.

((Well... shit. Uh, I think all the lore used for Louis is no longer valid since I quit RotMG, I nearly lost all my character notes and I'm pretty sure that his lies are going to blown apart rather quickly now. Are the GMs still running this?))

Louis glances at Tom, quizzically inspecting him for a few seconds before jerkily standing back upright and poking him with the stave in a manner matching his nonchalant tone "Stalking Miss Gasoline or something?"

Tom doesn't answer, and running can be heard in the distance. After it's gone, he stands up straight.

"I dinnae stalk people, Louis. Just running from some Yankee gents who think fish is a miracle from heaven."

Ryuka seems to have fell asleep in a library beanbag, a large blue book in her hand.
