Louis nods and strolls briskly towards the dormitories, chances are, Army and Marcus would be elsewhere, attending to other matters. Of course if his suspicions were correct, nowhere truly was private here, though then again, judging by her use of "slightly more", it seems that Mitsuru may have similar thoughts upon that affair.

Mitsuru meets him there. She seems somewhat less composed.
"I know this is probably cliched to you.....but before two years ago, I was what you would call a typical rich lazy person. I had no ambitions, no desires in life, and no aim, except to lounge on what I saw as my right rather than a privilege."

There is Shiro, standing there. He looks very tired.

Tohru cautiously nears him.
"S-Shiro?"

"Figured as much, I mean, that's what usually happens anyway. Rich get richer till their heirs mistake themselves for aristocrats and get screwed by competitors. So, I take it something dragged your ass kicking and screaming out of your comfort zone? Loss? Something threatened to tear down those privileges? Got addicted to those shitty self-help books?"

"Why did you come here?" The place is an abosolute wreckage. His voice showed unsettling and intimidating tone, with his eyes fixated on Tohru. He looked like a monster.

"My grandmother died. And she.....unlike her husband, had dredged herself from the lower classes with effort and work- she had not had her wealth handed to her.

I loved her very much- she was the one who taught me how to prepare tea properly, how to do many things- and when she was passing, she asked me 'what was I doing with my life?'.

Being the aimless layabout I was then, I couldn't answer her."
Tohru shudders, but stands her ground. Souji is on guard, just in case.
"I....I just wanted to talk...."

The nurse gives him a carton of milk.

Everyone knows it's bread that helps with peppers, not milk, sckrube.
Oliver drinks it anyway.

Seemed that even such a poorly set-up attempt at shotgunning managed to hit it's mark. Assuming of course, that she wasn't lying. That's always the assumption anyway. "Ah, a self-made lady? Right, so, have you figured out the fuck to do with your life yet? Or is this just a stop-gap 'til you find something?"

"I know exactly why I lost. I had emotions." Shiro exclaims with his normal cheerful tone, which added creepiness to it.

"I didn't want to hurt Fuschia. That is insane! That is why I didn't go aggressive! Stupid! Why couldn't I figure that out before. A person who is afraid of hurting others is weak."

"I am going to make sure I am worthy of my status. I will work for it- that is why I chose to protect others during the war, and that is why I'm here." She sighs, before chuckling, realising what Louis had done.

"And your attempt at shotgunning might have failed, had my story not been so easy to expect. I'm sorry if I disappointed you by adhering to a typical cliche."
The girl merely mutters. _{"Y-you're not.....w-weak...."}

[Empiricist]

"Noblesse oblige and all that jazz then?"
A cynical chuckle. A sympathetic smile. Juxtaposed. Eye-contact for 5 seconds. Reversion to usual cursory examination of surroundings immediately afterwards.
"If that's what you feel is right, then go right on ahead. Make her proud. Personally, I think it's a load of bollocks to live your life for someone else's sake, but then again, it ain't my life."
Silence. Duration, thirty-eight point five-six seconds. Resumption of eye-contact. Duration, forty-two point one-three seconds.
"Come on, cheer up. I'd bet she'd be real damn proud of you now."
