"Of course they do. They seal my powers away to a pathetic fraction of what they actually are. And I'm sure that they have other properties too, ones that I don't know about." She raises them for THE to examine more closely. They are made out of solid iron, covered in cuneiform symbols, and has no hinges or locks. In fact, how they were put on her in the first place is a mystery, for her wrist are just barely small enough to fit into the holes in the manacles. So the only obvious way to remove them would be cutting off her hands, but it obviously isn't going to be as simple as that.
