Louis had spent the rest of the day after shadowing Amy with a fire extinguisher, prone on his bed, free-hand sketching diagrams of modern superposed load systems adapted for cartridgeless firearms. Though the lines aren't entirely straight and the schematics as a whole were a tad shy of being neat, they nonetheless conveyed their intended message. There were numerous 'candidate' designs for the firing mechanisms, varying from electronic to purely mechanical all with additional functions such as a burst fire and unload detailed if their relevant design was indeed capable of supporting their implementation. Messily scrawled were a few notes on the benefits and limitations of each system and potential issues.

"Not sure 'bout Marcus and Mitsuru, but I'm fine with it. I've slept through worse."
