Anyway, according to Miss Gasoline, demons that can pop up here have to be similar to humans. So in other words, they're probably assholes. The Layar were also similar and also assholes. Gods and whatnot seem to be as well.

What I'm trying to get at, is I think Earth is a magical asshole magnet. Which is kinda bad seeing as well, Marcus has some kind of godly boxing glove, which means that even if Perseus kicks the bucket, I have a feeling that whatever pops up next is going to try and murder his ass as well. Point is, we might want to invest in well, more long term solutions, like figuring out how to keep his location hidden, or get that damn thing offa him. Or, if all else fails and everything is ruined forever, if the afterlife has skype.

I somehow doubt that everything is trying to kill him. There could be beings out there who want to protect him as much as we do.

Still, you do have a point. Long term solutions would be a good idea.

A shame none of those guys showed up in the "Marcus getting repeatedly murdered nonstop" channel we've been watching. Still, there's something missing - we don't know if there's any benefit to killing him. I mean, if he got that thing for shivving a god, maybe people who kill him would get it? Because that would probably lower the fuck out of the number of people willing to actually save his ass and not just get all that power. Or is there some kind of bounty on him? I mean, you'd think that murdering someone would have that kind of consequence.

Indeed. Killing him might actually have a more detrimental effect, although obviously we aren't going to test that out to see if that's the case.

Well, best option right now seems to be to figure out what benefit there is in killin' him. If that gauntlet's transferred, we could try organizing for something to finish him off if he's near death so that a neutral party gets it, that way no one would benefit much from his death anyway. A bounty or something would be a lot harder, still ot quite sure how to counter that.

I do have my doubts, though. Aside from that, speaking about him as if he was a valuable object instead of a person....
