Kat adjusts her skirt and sits down awkwardly next to the cat.

As Tom begins to talk, though, she looks wide-eyed and confused.

A comparison doesn't automatically mean I THINK that you two have feelings other than murderous rage for each other.

Wait, if you and your homies have existed for so long, why are there so many similarities to you know, this fucked up world? I mean, you'd think that you guys would have hit a singularity or developed socially or tech-wise to be completely alien to humans or something.

That is a question I cannot answer. I suspect that part of the reason is that the only demons who care about Earth have some connection to it. So we pick up enough of your culture to blend in and appear relatively similar.

So we are completely alien to humans. But at the same time we're very good at hiding it.

"Food here is much better than my home town. For lunch we would be having stew every day for weeks. No meat."
She immediately begins eating voraciously, as if she hadn't in weeks. Once she finishes, she licks her long fangs and lets out a small burp, giggling and smiling.
"I am being surprised! No one has given me hard time yet. Usually tail or ears not so common. People being angry about them."
