You knew stuff you couldn't have known, were up against someone who by all rights should have killed your ass without you noticing, and you only knew so much 'bout what was before and after.

You know, this is a perfect way to ruin some guy's life. Give 'em false threats, shit they'd obsess over. A fuckin' zahir. Something to fear. Something that distances them, because they're afraid of making friends who would just see them damn die.

((Probably not, Marcus would have recognized her and cared a lot more. Also Louis getting involved wouldn't really help. Whilst he probably has, by far, the most powerful ability on the entire island in terms of it's potential sheer output power, the complete absence of control means that he literally has no surefire way of assisting Marcus. Every single attack trigger he could end up creating either won't be triggered, or could be triggered by Marcus just as, if not more easily.))
"I'm just making guesses, but probably, yeah. If it is, there should be a way to check whether that's what's going on. Still, relax a bit man, enjoy yourself. I mean, the best case would be if it never happens. Worst case, well, you'll be reunited with some of your old friends, right?
