Tohru and Mitsuru are probably where everyone else is.

Louis makes a wild and rather vague gesture towards Tohru without even bothering to make eye contact "I take it she's the person who just rocked up to this joint?" he then proceeds to lean every so slightly against his incomplete staff, idly working on the enchantments at a relaxed pace, his gaze primarily focused upon the relevant components.

"Indeed."

[Empiricist]

"'Kay. Nice to meet you missy, the name's Skyler. Or Louis. Depends on how much I feel like lying."
He frowns before lazily turning around to face Mitsuru, using the staff as a pivot point, "What was I plannin' on saying to you in person again? Just the usual random bullshit?"

"I'm Tohru. Nice to meet you."

Mitsuru thinks for a bit.
"Creation and Void, correct?"

[SOLDIER First]

Oliver nods.
He's not okay. Why, Yltra.

"Right, that load of bull. Did'ya remember anything? Or is this the bit where I bitch and whine for the next hour or so about it?"
Louis makes an exaggerated bow, holding his incomplete weapon perpendicular to himself. Then, slamming it upright onto the ground beside himself with practiced care and gentleness, he extends a hand towards the newcomer.

Tohru shakes it.

"Supposedly, Creation and Void are the antithesis of each other. Everything that currently exists lies in in Creation, and Void lies outside it. Void seeks to consume Creation and Creation seeks to swallow Void.

At least, that is what I have read."

Louis smiles wryly in return, making eye contact for the first time in the whole encounter.
"Ain't that just the exact same shit as matter 'n' antimatter? Sounds cliched to fucking hell. Can't the two just you know, coexist? I mean, if it's like what I just said 'bout matter and stuff, then shouldn't there be unstable shit made out of both? Like that positronium crap?"

Mitsuru shrugs.
"Magic does what it wants to. I wouldn't know, I'm no scientist."

[Empiricist]

"Scientists are probably too damn qualified to understand this shit." Louis remarks with a sigh "Change of topic then? Neither of us know much and I'd probably end up throttling someone if I listen to that bullshit for too long."

"Apart from wracking your brain trying to figure this out, how are you and what have you been doing?"

[Empiricist]

"Lying 'bout stuff to other people. Lying 'bout stuff to you. Lying 'bout lying 'bout stuff to you. Working with shit I barely understand. You know, the usual. 'Course, everyone does that. The lying, not the magic stuff. I mean, I'm pretty sure one of Freud's homies said shit 'bout everyone lying or 'least being dishonest, figured it was vital for socializing 'n' shit. Only difference is, I know that I'm lying and feel like havin' a bit of fun when I do it."

"I see. That's ironically honest of you."

Louis releases a half suppressed chuckle as he continues making adjustments to the stave, occasionally raising his head to make eye-contact with Tohru or Mitsuru, with a bias towards the latter due to having a conversation with her at present.
"I'm fine with lettin' everyone know I'm a liar. s'long as I don't let 'em know which bit I'm lying 'bout."
