Obvious trap is obvious, and pointless too, since nothing can touch the pieces on the side. Nothing.

Either way, Marcus continues carefully setting up the next trap.

It actually wasn't a trap - he neatly snips out the intruder and rearranges his pieces in perfect formation over a period of a few turns, and then commencing the march forth again. Or at least that's what he intends to do, Marcus might interrupt that.

((you'd have to sacrifice a piece in order to get the checker out, so redundancy! Woo!))

Marcus builds up his own defense, until the point where it's THE's turn and any move will result in him losing a fair amount of pieces.

"Walling only works if you're a turn ahead."

((I haven't played checkers in 3 years so I don't know what I'm doing))

THE advances, obviously losing pieces galore but seeming to try to shepherd a cadre of pieces to the end of the board while holding steady with the flanks.

Marcus easily manages to king several of his pieces, and they cleave through the survivors through the rear.

There they meet the few THE managed to king, and though he's outnumbered slightly he manages to bleed Marcus quite a bit during the chase that leads to THE's last piece dancing about the sides, fruitlessly extending the duel.

Marcus finally takes the little bastard, exhaling in relief.

"Please don't extend the game if you know you're going to lose; it's immature."

I prefer to leave nothing to chance. Still, thank you for playing. I will improve upon my technique next time we play. It was interesting.

Shiro does not directly attack, instead he changes to passive aggressive strategy which is easy to counter, hoping that Tohru can catch him off.

Well.....Tohru finally manages to capture one piece and get the rest of hers captured.

"Kekekekeke. Close game." Shiro says teasingly.

"Oh well. It was fun!"

"You know, I think I should play with you more. It's kinda fun to play with you kekeke. You will get better."
