Louis leaves that aside for now and begins working on another integral component: a conditional sharpness enchantment. The idea is to utilize an enchantment to make a blunt object supernaturally sharp, it would not have to be too sharp, merely sharp enough to act as a spear head with sufficient efficacy. The primary advantage of such a design is that should the enchantments, for whatever reason, fail, the result would be a lamp that topples over rather than a falling spear. Furthermore, the trigger for the stabilization would simply cut power from it and divert it to the balancing and lighting system so that power supply would be less of an issue along with increasing safety.

Ailill works on the project and in the forges alternately keeping up with his workload in the forges from class and work along with doing homework, in the name of advancing the project he is trying to get it to search for specific spells giving the proportion of energy spent on that category/type in particular rather than focusing on the temporal issues.

Ailill first uses the circle that can search for individual spells with someone else he borrows from around the place probably the-enchanting-club-guy to determine if others can use the circles. After this he works on improving the ability of the circle to distinguish between different energy drops at different times.
