Pauliina outstretches her arms.

"Hugs?"

Tom walks over and sits by Shiro.

"Hey, Shiro. How's it been?"

Mimu gives a little laugh and puts the tray down, moving over to her to hug her.

"Yo Tom! Everythin' good. Kekeke" Shiro is creepy as always.

Hugging ensues.

Tom nods, looking around the room. He seems bored.

"So, alchemy?"

((Tom isn't creeped out much by Shiro. I mean, he may or may not have been in universes where the concept of a face did not exist.))

After several minutes of hugging, Mimu starts to wonder if Pauliine is ticklish for whatever reason, and proceeds to attempt to tickle her sides or under her arms.

((I know, just putting it out there that he does have a creepy demeanor. Not saying Tom is necessarily creeped out by it though.))

"More specifically, about travelling at the speed of light.. which would in theory break the space time continuum and travel to other universes." Shiro grins; his pointy teeth and the red eyes with black sclera giving an evil look.

Pauliina starts giggling.

"Ah, stop it~"

Mimu giggles and stops, grinning at Pauliine.

"As you wish Miss."

"Interesting. I guess it could, theoretically, work, but...I'm not sure it'd be a good idea."

Pauliina starts tickling Mimu.

"Vengeance!"

"Nope. Won't work to be honest. Every object gains mass when they accelerate, even small objects at the size of an atom can get as heavy as...say a moon, for example. But it doesn't work like that, there needs to be a equally strong push or thrust to keep it moving. However, for something to travel at the speed of light the mass would become infinite and...the thrust, it also has to be infinite. No known force so far in my observable universe can do that." Shiro chuckles as he adjusts his snapback.

"Alchemy ain't magic, it's just using what the universe gives you. Maybe if I had the philsopher's stone it will work, but philosopher's stone is essentially just an extract of magic, which I believe is what they use in portals. I guess this is where alchemy falls short." Shiro seems sort of sad behind his cheeky grin.

"There's a reason I said "theoretically" mate."

Tom raises an invisible glass.

"To theoretical physics, the land of impossible dreams, dreamt by madmen."

"EHEHEHE!" Mimu is apparently VERY ticklish, falling over her feet at the tickle on slot!
