"In that case, do staff have cards? If so, what's yours and what's the infirmary's? Those two could come in handy."

Turns out these things can send messages. I've got some of those wall things set up in the dorms now, ought to save you a bit of bother. I'd magic them, but that would require some poor bastard to get staunched a coupla times.

Mitsuru starts practicing on the targets, discarding her muskets- which vanish after returning to their ribbon form- with each shot used.

Mitsuru is having trouble hitting the targets, as some of them teleport out of the way, others block the attack with little shields, and some just plain phase out of existence.


Most people are just randomly walking in dorms and claiming a bed as theirs now. 3 unclaimed dorms remaining (excluding the dorm that it is a really bad idea to go in))

Indeed she does.

However, she adapts to them eventually by predicting when they will be vulnerable and firing then, learning from trial and error. And when she does hit, it's a bullseye. About 80 percent of the time. She misses another 10 percent and hits the target another ten percent.

She walks across campus, Marcus in silent tow, discovering the location of several well-equipped classrooms, a forge, two enchantment labs, a computer lab, the island's office, several dorms, and the shooting range. If the map is anything to go by, she's seen about a quarter of the total facilities on campus.

"T-that's a lot."

Eventually, Mitsuru is satisfied. She lowers the last of her muskets and returns them to ribbon form, before they vanish.
"I think that's enough for now."

John spends a few minutes observing where the targets are supported by and if they also have the affects happen to them. If yes John spends some time learning how to hit the targets through trial and error. Is not He just shoots the target's supports until they fall.
