As Fushcia felt the pain of burning again, her vines quickly changed tactics. They began to creep forwards towards her mouth, her nose, her ears, her eyes. Before they could make any progress though Ghislaine was torn from the vine's grip and sent flying. Fushcia swayed slightly as she raised one of her hands to where the fire had tried to burn through her skull.

[Empiricist]

A high-power, low duration laser rips through the air straight into Ghrislaine. She probably wouldn't have even noticed the beam as it was active for such a brief period of time that it simply could not impart much thermal energy. The electrical discharge that surged through the ionized path however, was another matter. It was effectively a long-range taser.

[Kansa]

((I'm surprised no one is trying to do the same to Fushcia to be honest :p))

((Pythius was about to taser Fuschcia and Marcus for excessive force as well, but decided that it'd rather ensure that Ghrislaine doesn't endure the shot first.))

Marcus helps Fuschia up.

"How badly hurt are you?"

Ghislaine isn't too badly injured, aside from a bad burn where the horse made contact with her.

"That idiot... at least she barely qualified for it, so he could only use a fraction of that power on her."

[Empiricist]

Pythius glides at high speeds over to Marcus and Fuschia "Please understand, that whilst I do indeed make exceptions for mitigating attempted murder, excessive force is not often tolerated."
It then turns to face Ms. Blake "My apologies for direct interference, however, I do believe that the conduct of certain participants had deviated too far from both the purpose of the exercise and general safety protocols to be permitted to continue."

[SOLDIER First]

"O-ow! Stop! I-I'm sorry!"

[Kansa]

The vines had retreated back into Fushcia's body, she rose to her feet slowly. She winced slightly as she felt the bruises, the pain from the almost fatal burning still was clear.
"I'm fine" she snapped as Marcus asked her.

She looked towards Pythius as he came towards him,
"Fine" her voice was still harsh.

[USEC_OFFICER]

Ghislaine shakily pulls herself back onto her feet after being tazed by Pythius's weapon. Obviously the charge wasn't high enough to keep her stunned for very long. She is covered in wounds, cuts and scrapes which her blood flows freely out of. A brown-red, foul smelling liquid that her torn uniform soaks up greedily until it can't drink anymore, so that the rest covers her limbs and the sand underneath her feet. Her side is brunt where Marcus's blast hit her, her hair is a mess of tangles as it tries to clean itself, and her face is a expressionless mask of rage that does nothing to cover up the senseless anger boiling in her eyes. Ghislaine quickly starts swearing, not in English or any recognizable tongue, but in a harsh, guttural language that lends itself well to the task at hand as she spits every word out with venom. Then she takes a step forward and starts attacking... herself.

Or more specially, the manacles at her wrists. At first she justs swings them around angrily before she starts to smash it over her knee, as if the bone and muscle won't give way before the hefty chunk of solid iron. But even blinded by rage she senses that this is a futile gesture, so she stops briefly to raise her hands close to her face. So that she can start biting at her wrists, skin and muscle peeling away as she tries to gnaw her own hands off. And all the time she keeps cursing in that unknown tongue of hers, the dark language becoming muffled every time she rips another chunk of flesh off her arms.

[SOLDIER First]

Oliver is suddenly glad he can't see everyone else for no apparent reason.

[Empiricist]

"I recommend seeking the aid of the infirmary or the first-aid class, otherwise such wounds may persist as aesthetic issues."
Turning to face Ghrislaine, it fires several more shots at her, caring not to cease until her current course of action was either prevented or further use was at risk of causing permanent harm.
"Restrain her. She may need counseling."

Ailill is in magical metalworking class dutifully not using his ability after the last time

Matthew has bugged the hell out of the area. He could recognize trouble.

Fuschia stared at the bloody beaten body of the demon, listening to the rants in whatever demonic language that she was speaking. She did not make a sound as she watched it, she did not even speak in reply to the teacher. She just stood there staring, with anger and hatred in her eyes.

Ghislaine is now a twitching wreck after being shot with the tazer multiple times. At least she has stopped tearing at her bloody wrists.
