Nodding ever so slightly, Pythius' sonorous voice softly drones
"Indeed, though I would wager that she knows how to apply it, she simply lacks the respect to display it. Did you hear about the cafeteria? Apparently a certain first year student made a rather large donation of pure salt, the kind that can be used to harm demons. If it is a symptom of what I suspect it is, then I believe more direct measures may have to be taken in the future to prevent others from harming her or vice-versa. I shall endeavor to notify you of any relevant prophecies. Let us digress, it is rather pessimistic to start off discussing such worrisome matters, are there any students that seem to show great promise?"
"Oh come on, I was kinda a bit more of a knob than usual yesterday, plus I'm just gonna end up hurting myself one way or another in that club seeing as I don't know shit 'bout it, so I might as well do something useful instead of making random magical knick-knacks that do fuck all."

 "Marcus shows promise - he has a natural curiosity for divine history, as it ties with his magical gauntlet. Sadly, no other students have shown any signs of promise yet."
She adjusts her glasses.

"...eh, fair cop."

"I cannot say that any in my classes show much promise either, however, these are mere early days and this campus' courses certainly deviate form the norm. Hence, I still maintain hope that perhaps, something will click in a few students and their efforts will be rewarded. It is however rather frustrating seeing some students possessing key gaps in knowledge or disadvantage idiosyncrasies from their participation on the war, call me an idealist but to know that Earth's defense had such a reliance upon naive child soldiers is very much disheartening."

"So, think you could hold a large rod, kinda like a pencil 'cept scaled up to your gauntlet's size, and use it like a pencil properly?"

   "Indeed. These children will be the future of magic - they may save the world, but I hope that they won't have to."

"Some already have and that concerns me much so. The people considered war heroes, the 'Northdale Five' I believe the media called them, they look too young to vote or drink, and far too young to kill or die and yet such details are glossed over. Is this really what the future has in store for us? To idolize those we once considered to be child soldiers, victims of war? For all we may hope, for all our optimism, we must still remain realistic. Though I really am getting tired of conjuring obituaries and gravestones."
"Sure, we oughta do that sometime, we got plenty of time, it ain't like I'll be finished with any of 'em, or really started with them any time soon."

Ms. Gauldur nods and takes a sip of her coffee, not having anything else to add.

Carefully removing it's helm and placing it upon the table, Pythius gestures and clearly intones "Parameter - Headphones" as light and darkness alike gather in it's hands, consolidating into a rather odd pair of headphones. Incantations as such were not required for it's ability, nonetheless they were generally welcome, especially when resolving more troublesome matters with students, as saying "Parameter - Non-Lethal Weapon" often makes a sticky-shocker or electrolaser significantly less fearsome.

Donning the headphones that had been stylized to resemble a set of cat-ears, Pythius begins playing music from a rather old Sony NW-A605 Walkman, the lichtenberg figures concentrating within its cranial area.
