Ghislaine thinks about Matthew's words for a little bit before replying. "Hmm... I suppose so. But then again, given all of the wonderful characters in this place, perhaps such precautions are not entirely out of place." She smirks, "Especially if you set them off by tampering with the IDs."

"True, I am rather paranoid."
He chuckles.

Ghislaine does not. "Though maybe with good reason. This place isn't exactly what it seems."

[SOLDIER First]

Oliver has stopped telling the rock how much he hates it and is instead sitting on top of it, staring out at the ocean.

[Again_Dejavu]

((So she does chuckle?))

((... Goddamn it. She does not chuckle. There you go, now you know. Sorry about that.))

He motions at her hands
"What's the story behind the cuffs?"

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Oh, these cuffs?" she replies in a mocking tone of voice, as if she didn't notice them until now. She moves them up a bit for Matthew to get a better look as she continues, "You know, they're here for the usual reasons. To restrict my powers and prevent me from turning every waking moment at this school a living hell, where death is not an escape from the eternal agonies and mind-rending tortures. That sort of thing."

[Again_Dejavu]

"Ah, guess I can't really argue against that."

[USEC_OFFICER]

"Hmpfh. Of course you won't," she grunts as she lowers the cuffs. "Now is your curiosity satisfied?"

Matthew walks off, as he leaves he says
"Try not to die"

Ghislaine says to Matthew's retreating form. "You too. After all, I know first-hand how fragile you humans actually are."
