"If the enchantments were closely linked to their weapons then replicas that are highly magically charged but are unenchanted could be used as a 'slate' for the enchantments to be written on. If they aren't then we need someone who could... 'detect' or 'read' them, once done we could then replicate lost magical arts by using historical reference."
