Ailill gets out some books on enchanting and a stack of books on historical weapons and armour then begins making notes on an A5 notebook bound in blue leather. After finishing his notes he begins to leave then starts and puts away his books where they came from with total accuracy. He leaves swiftly and speaks to a staff member
"Are metalworking and enchantment labs available to students?"

[Empiricist]

"Hmm... Why thank you! I never thought about it like that..."
Louis mimes stroking his nonexistent beard.
"A bit too risky though, they couldn't be so pissed they'd staunch me without listening. Why do you think it's to protect me? I said I like lying, I might be lying about that..."
A jovial yet somewhat mephistophelean smile forms on Louis' face.
"A bit too obvious there dear, light."

((At this rate, Amaterasu, Mitsuru and Louis are going to end up in the same dorm. I really hope whoever the fourth person is would be is male otherwise, knowing Elf, he'll ensure that either Louis ends up being a source of schadenfreude or somehow end up having to crossdress. Or both.))

Marcus walks into the library, eyeing one of Louis's books.

Looking around himself he remarks
"Library's quite lively so early on..."

"Yeah, you know ours, now spill

"Maybe I shall play a game with you, like yourself and Louis?" Mitsuru smiles, chuckling, before shaking her head.

"But no.....my power is to create and manipulate ribbons."

"Christ that sounds dangerous..."
Either Louis is actually being honest for once, or he's rather good at being sarcastic without showing it.

"How well can you manipulate them? Animated rope, making them taut and inflexible?, both?"

"I'd think well enough that they'd be dangerous enough for her to need to train using them. But poor enough that she needs to train in the first place. I don't think I'd like to find it out, getting choked into the gutter by something fucking everywhere ain't on my bucket list that's for sure.

Think we should look for more people? Dorms are shared between four and I don't think you two would trust me, either as a thief or as a man to stay with the both of you."
