Weirdest were-beasts?
« on: August 18, 2014, 02:29:20 pm »

Okay, so I just had my first werebeast and thought it was a pretty strange one, what is the strangest werebeast you've had, wether it is just simply strange funny or weird?

Today the one I had was a were-armadillo lol

Werewombats are surprisingly deadly. I'm almost certain that I got a werecavy once

Had a weregecko. It spent like 12 attacks trying to gum someone to death with its toothless mouth, then kicked in their skull.

I had a weresheep appear.. It tried to kill my wolf that was pastured outside my door, and ended up losing and fleeing.

But - hooves.  And horns.  And teeth.  There is no reason to expect a humanoid sheep with an exaggerated size wouldn't win against a wolf.

Also horns.  Do werebeasts respect gender when transformed? hmmm  :-X

I had a were-tapir, and I just assumed it looks like a drowzee...
It even had glowing purple eyes, like you would expect from a psychic.

That's horrifying. Absolutely horrifying.

Werechinchilla. They're... surprisingly cute, but bloody deadly. Lost two Dwarves before my military beat the living hell out of it with their fists.

Totally worth it, though.

Faer teh weer-badgar!

Seriously, though, were-badgers are nasty as hell.

Were-pandas?  No so much. Had one of those show up and try to chase one of my dwarves by swimming across the river.  Turned back into a human and drowned about halfway across.

Beware the were-tortise...

My first were creature ever.

The thing got into a brawl with a unicorn which ended in a draw,  and it left the map without ever getting near my fort.

I never had one last more then 5 seconds. They would always turn to normal race almost instantly arriving.

Since we've gone from weirdest to worst, I'm going to put out my Stealth Weremammoth.
