Fun fact: I was originally going to run all of Kat's dialogue through Google Translate a couple times to get some authentic broken English, but I decided against it because I thought it would be a little too mangled.

I actually kind of like how it is now, even though it's a little harder for me to come up with equivalents to things and to not use big words. So far, she's sort of got this quirky charm to her that I really enjoy. I love it when I'm getting introduced to my own character at the same time as everyone else is.

Yea, I also didn't want to, like, be insulting to anyone. Especially because I don't know much about Russia or Russian culture. Which is part of the reason why Kat refuses to speak her native language. (Because then I would have to put it through Google Translate, and we would see that her Russian is just as broken as her English.)
