If you miss a 97% hit, safely assume god hates you.

Can't hate me too much... he gave the LMG-user an 8 dmg crit. But Snipers are so hard to train! And when they do die, I agree with Sentient, its a sad day after all the work you put into them.

Heavies are slightly less of a loss in vanilla game as they have rockets for their mega triple kills in the early game. Even a rookie heavy is good. A rookie sniper is only slightly better than a base rookie.

After this spar I'm quite willing to let John lose fights without weapons. It would also really help if people did things to cement their wins instead of just drawing it out for no reason.

These fights seem to begin in rather interesting, realistic situations, quickly drop to the usual cinematic actions and then the majority of combat just amounts to two people flopping back and forth like a pair of fish.
