My eyes widen and I slowly back away from the group without saying a word, and my eyes flick down the hallways beside me before returning to watch the threats in front of me. my hands are beginning to tremble a little as well.

((Um, do people need an explanation of why Ahrian is acting the way she is? There's a good reason.))

((1. Ahrian is effectively a kidnap victim. she has no way to go home, no real understanding of the world she landed in, and is in an environment totally beyond her control.
 2. Ahrian was already agitated by the man antagonizing her earlier.
 3. Ahrian was suddenly added to a small, handpicked group that she wasn't origionally going to be in after the leader of said group laid eyes on her.
 4. Ahrian was then drawn away from the people other than that small handpicked group.
 5. once isolated, she was the target of a 3-person assgrab attempt.
 6. after she reacted negatively, she was insulted in a way that she wouldn't understand what was being said (this was able to be figured out by the context of what others said, though she still doesn't know what a tsundere is)
 7. at the same time as this, she was asked to calm down and offered unlikely gifts in response: "come on Ahri, I'll get you anything you want. Two of anything you want."
 8. she is being asked to enter a small enclosed isolated space with only the people that were handpicked.
 9 of the five people (corgi and johnny count as the same being for her count, but steve doesn't), three were involved in the assgrab attempt, one attempted to help cover up the insult, and one appears to be a utter sociopath.
 10. the group leader keeps calling her by a pet name, not the name she has introduced herself as having.
 11. Ahrian is far less physically imposing than the others in the room, and she knows it.

Ahrian's conclusion: you're attempting to gang-rape her))

N had followed the group.  "Gentlemen, I would suggest avoiding her tails.  Biological foci for magical power are renowned for their sensitivity, especially with regards to mythical beings.  I suspect that even the slightest damage would be roughly equivalent to someone punching you in the dick."

It seems to be the on site news. The headline is about how one of the head vampire hunters recently got married to a Dhampir. How sweet.

Kyle continues standing there waiting. He doesn't look annoyed.

"Can I please not be in group one? Everyone other than Z are batshit insane."

Keith says without looking up from his paper.

Kyle isn't in the hall so he can't hear Sven.

"Is this not group two? Apologies.  I thought that we were missing the interesting girl and her handler." With that he summarily slips out of the room.  You can hear him hacking and wheezing down the hall as he leaves.

Arriving in the other room, "Apologies, needed to use the latrines."
