He then begins searching for coffee of any variety to wake himself up fully.

"Lost my arm in nam', Apparently alien parasite bugs need a point just like that to attach to a human body.  removing the little bugger would end almost immediately with my neural functions ceasing completely, and corgi got smart quick after hooking up to my brain. so now he makes jokes with the creepy voice only an alien parasite could make. So I came here, either they figure a way to get him off me, or I work here."

"He is barking mad, my name might be "Corgi" but I am more cat than anything, I eat all his food, ignore his commands, and forceably attach myself to him as a drain on his resources, and similar to a cat, once you have me, you can't live without me."

What looks to be Master Chief walks in through a door across the room from everyone.
"Alright, I want you to split into two groups. Gonna have to escort ya newbies to the 'introductory' mission breifings."
The man says in a clearly Australian accent.

"Group two!"

"No, he picks group one."

A Girl clad in restrictive devices is rolled into the lobby by a couple of D-class personnel who looke scared out of their minds.  As soon as the unlock the devices and set her down onto her feet they run away extremely fast.

The girl looks around before speaking, "Group two, if that is fine..."

The armored man looks her up and down.
"Kira? I didn't know you were approved to be out."

[Sanure]

"I already told you to call me Kyuto. I haven't killed any more D-class lately, so they let me out for good behavior~" She seems way to innocent for her own good.

She walks over to the window and slips a token into the slot. She presses a button for a Speed booster.

N grins, he had seen these types before.  Still largely tethered to the physical plane, but simultaneously attuned to the mystical world.  She wouldn't be able to do quite as much as he could, but creepy children had a tendency to become the great monsters.

"On second thought, may I switch to group 2?"

It, of course, drops out.

"You didn't tie up Steve again did you?"
The man shrugs and makes a grunt that can be taken to mean 'whatever you want.'.

"And who might you be dear?"

"Group two."

"Ehh, group 1, I guess."

"George is fine. George is fine. He hasn't shown up yet? He is usually so prompt~" She equips the speed booster.
