If I have just one square of a certain biome in my embark is that enough to spawn the animals from the biome and will they cross the map or just spawn and stay to the one area that represents that biome?

Are Temperate broad leaf forest the only non-evil biomes where you can gather above ground webs? I had brown recluse webs spawn in my forest and I've never seen that before.

Brown recluse spiders only live in temperate broadleaf forests, yes.

Just one square is enough to make it a cross-biome if I recall.  They do wander about the map as usual.
