Bianca spared a glance at Dahne, she wondered why he was so pale.. She chalked it up to alcohol, and fished around in her pack, eventually swiping out the coil of warp wire. "I'd assume that this is what you want, its simple to use, you just uncoil it." She seemed proud of the fact that she was the one who apparently got a warp wire, even though it cost her most of her money..

((Dahne is naturally pale-skinned; he isn't paler than normal at the moment. :P))

Noticing Bianca glancing at him, the Highlander decided to ask someone who had also tasted the same mead. "Any nightmares? I had a strange one where my bagpipe was destroyed. Been wonderin' whether it had been the liquor." he explained.

"Hey steve." You speak into the air.
>Yes?
"Could you guys also make a hamburger out of this arm when they cut it off? I wanted to eat it just for the sake of tasting it."
>That is horrible and disgusting. It will no doubt set you apart and create fear in your team mates. So of course.

"You should've had the sewer brew, good chap. Had the best dreams I've had in weeks after drinking that!"

Shiloh shook his head. "No, no nightmaresss. But I didn't drink, either, ssso you may be right about the alcohol."

Bianca stuttered for a moment, he too had nightmares? Maybe it was bad mead.. "Yes, I don't know why you couldn't tell if it was bad, if it was something you've had for a long time." While her tone was neutral, there was an undercurrent of annoyance.

"The thing is liquor that good can't be the reason and I'm used to stuff stronger than that. And my 'nightmare' was silly enough anyway, may have been the bed or somethin'." the Highlander replied, shaking his head as he arrived at his conclusion... Before taking a moment to stare into Bianca's eyes with his own gray ones. "Why, had a nasty one?"

((Sorry, timezones))

((Dahne is naturally pale-skinned; he isn't paler than normal at the moment. :P))
((Must be the lighting? :P))

"Mm, nightmares," Cyra added, "Worst ever when they deal with your goals. Satisfaction only in dreams." The last part trailing off as she stared at the direction of the plantlife around.

"Since we're going back--how far are we planning it? Until fatigue sets in?"

"Asss far asss we can go, I think. We have that warp wire, ssso we won't have to worry about fighting our way out. I'll buy one when we get back to town for tomorrow, Bianca," he said, this last to reassure the princess he wasn't just being frivolous with her money since she bought one.

((I'm gonna try to get ahead on planning, so we don't have as many pauses.  I can do town stuff during the week, but the dungeon itself takes time, and map editing of course))

The six of you make the short trek through the woods.  The way is pleasant again, in contrast to the danger that awaits in the labyrinth.  Another guild walks with you, but they keep to themselves and discussing their plan for advancing through the labyrinth.  When you get to the entrance, they head off in a different direction.  The guard at the entrance recognizes you and lets you in without a fuss.

Heading inside, it seems just as you left it.  There is an eerie calm, and you feel like you are always being watched.  You recall that you took a couple jobs on the first level of the labyrinth.  Relocate the pure spring.  Bug extermination.  Fresh crabapples.

You are at the stairs in D3. How will you proceed?

Spoiler: Map (click to show/hide)

"So! Leftward we go, fine friends?"

If yes, proceed leftward to C1 with party, and look at all the things revealed with this maneuver.

"For the bug extermination job, we have to burn that powder in a clearing with a bunch of flowers and yesterday we saw a place just like that." Dahne points out, licking his lips before continuing. "Worst bit is that there might be more clearings with flowers. Suppose we can keep exploring until we see if that's the only one, or take care of that one on the way out."

With the party.

Follow behind Shiloh.

"If we encounter any more floral species, I hope my knowledge could be put to use about them." Cyra replied, wondering how the underground ecology worked.

Shiloh fell back a little to walk beside Cyra, his manner rather... protective as he looked around for danger. "It would be nice if we found you sssome rare herbsss," he offered, keeping an eye on everything.

Bianca blinked a couple of times, as if trying to recall something.. Before speaking up. "Hold on.. Didn't we pass by a steam the last time we were here..? Perhaps that's the pure spring that we need to find?"
