"Oh, well. Maybe we'll have better luck tomorrow. Apparently gettin' drunk didn't help much, since I haven't gotten any new ideas either." Dahne shrugged.

Follow half-sober Bianca back to the inn.

"Ah, I think I may have a thought, Mr. Tuhlann. Perhaps we could be dubbed the Royal Guard?" he grins noticeably.

With the cool night air, Bianca sobered up considerably, however it did nothing to help with her foul mood. The arbelist having a joke at her expense just managed to worsen her mood. With shame and anger mixing around in that head of hers, Bianca started to unsteadily run back to the inn, trying to keep the rest of the group seeing her like this, and to prevent herself from lashing out at anyone.

Run back to the inn, even in my current state.

By now, the princess had actually drunk all of her mead, and her reasoning was lacking. "Golden guild?" Her words slightly slurred. "Shure.. Golden guild works just fine.." Wobbling a little bit, she gave a little hiccup, and that seemed to shock her into a state of increased sobriety. Rubbing her head, she looked down at the floor guiltily, and made her way to the inn, slightly unsteady.

((Sorry for the very long period of no replies.))

Follow her, and make sure she encounters no trouble!

With it only getting later and later, your group decides to retire for the evening.  You didn't have any luck with a guild name.  It's just going to have to wait for another day.  You make your way hastily to a nice looking place called The Rooster Inn.  The princess leads the way, determined to stay ahead.  Greeting you in the lobby is a well dressed man with short brown hair.  "Good evening, I am Eustace.  Are you looking for a room for the night, or an extended stay?"  Considering that you will be in Etria indefinitely, you book rooms for an extended stay.  The inn has a nice homely feel with warm lighting.  When you get to your rooms, they are a bit small but they have the basics.  Most importantly is a nice comfy bed.  You say your good nights, and turn in.

What time do you want to get started?  And in the favor of saving time, post any other pre-dungeon actions.

Bianca will somewhat stumble out of bed at sunrise, and after having something to eat will visit the forge to see what metalworking services it provides in the day.

At dawn, same as the others! Check quality of sewer brew. Has it undergone interesting changes?

Cyra follows in turn, though she makes notes of the natural flora within and near the boundaries of the city that are available to collect. If not possible--she tries to research those growing underground.

Shiloh will get started at dawn and spend some time walking around the city to get a good feel for its layout.
[7]You breath in the forest air deeply.  It's pleasant, and you can smell flowers in the air.  You follow your nose to a clearing of flowers.  Seeing how peaceful it is, you lie down and relax.  The sun shines down on you through the tree cover.  You close your eyes and enjoy the serenity for a while longer.

Bianca will somewhat stumble out of bed at sunrise, and after having something to eat will visit the forge to see what metalworking services it provides in the day.
!![2]!! Madness.  Pain.  The throbbing pain.  Your vision tints red as you stumble through the forest in your pajamas.  At least, it looks like the forest, but thick... vines? covered in thorns slither slowly through the trees.  It's way too quiet for any normal forest.  The sound of your footsteps are deafening.  Finally, you are at an end.  An enormous door of wood and bone blocks your way.  You turn to leave, but the door opens, beckons you in.  The forest closes in behind you, barring your escape, that's fine, you never want to leave.  Inside is a large clearing.  A number of vines, no, tentacles flow from the forest into the center.  You step closer to the mass of writhing tentacles.  It stops moving for a moment, and you pause to see what will happen.  The tentacles bulge, as if straining against cloth.  Sure enough, with a loud *rip* sound, a tear in the air appears, and the boundary to another dimension comes undone.  The enormous creature pours out of the hole.  This creature, this god, looks down upon you with a single red eye.  Blood drips to the ground at your feet.  Is that your blood?  You open your lips, and whisper, calling that detestable name...

+1 ? ? ?

At dawn, same as the others! Check quality of sewer brew. Has it undergone interesting changes?
[10]You ride out through the wide open plains on the back of the Bearmadon you tamed this morning.  It's like a shooting gallery, beasts and monsters alike flee from you and your perfect aim.  *Clang* You fire a bolt, dropping one.  *Clang* And there goes another.  *Clang* What good fun!  *Clang* And there, ahead, is the greatest of them all.  A creature of immense size and power.  It's back is turned!  Quick!  You take the shot.  *Clang*  Maximum kill.

Shiloh will get started at dawn and spend some time walking around the city to get a good feel for its layout.
Cyra follows in turn, though she makes notes of the natural flora within and near the boundaries of the city that are available to collect. If not possible--she tries to research those growing underground.
[9]You climb further up the grassy hill.  You know it's not much longer.  There were rumors that rare herbs were growing here, but few had returned to speak of it.  At last you reach the top, and there is a sea of green.  All kinds of herbs and flowers are growing everywhere.  They are all in excellent quality, and in full bloom, you hardly know where to start.  And then you see it.  A single pink bloom in the middle of the field stands out.  You run over and cradle the flower.  This is it!  This is just what you needed!  Just imagine what you could do with something as powerful as this...

Dawn. Walk around the city to check its layout and most important landmarks before joining the group.
[5]Your bagpipes are cheerful, the alcohol flows, and the party never stops at the bar.  But something is wrong.  The pipes back up, and make a funny noise.  You try to fix it, but nothing seems to work.  You blow air through it, and it inflates, but nothing comes out.  You try again and it gets bigger still.  You blow as hard as you can, and the bagpipes explode.  Tatters of the instruments come fluttering down.  You catch a few pieces in your hands.  It's like watching a friend die.  You cry out for the loss as tears stream down your face.

Zertch
[8]You stand in an alleyway, waiting in the shadows.  Another ninja drops off of the roof next to you.  Your eyes meet, and you nod.  Ninjas need no words.  You dash off together to the edge of town.  An Oni is approaching and only you and several other ninjas can stop them.  You bite your thumb and slap it against the ground.  In a poof of smoke you summon a giant toad to fight the enemy.  For a moment, you have the urge to shout "Believe it!", but that would just be dumb, so you hold back.  The demon charges, and you all scatter.  It never stood a chance.

((Yea, maybe I should have done this a tad sooner.  I'll get to the town stuff soon))

Day 2: Calendar date, Stallion 14

Shiloh will get started at dawn and spend some time walking around the city to get a good feel for its layout.
You wake when the first rays of light come through the window.  You do some stretches and get going for the day.  Breakfast is being served by a kind motherly woman.  Some fresh bread and eggs make up your meal.  You thank her and get on your way.

Bianca will somewhat stumble out of bed at sunrise, and after having something to eat will visit the forge to see what metalworking services it provides in the day.
You fall out of bed with a crash.  Tangled in your sheets, your heart is pounding, and you are soaked with sweat.  What the hell was that?  You reach up and grab your head.  The pain is still throbbing in your temples, although nothing seems to be wrong with your vision.  You shakily pick yourself up and get ready for a new day.  Breakfast helps steady yourself, especially after the cook, Laura, notices your distress, and comforts you with a sweet.

After your meal, you visit Dragas's forge to check out what services are available. There are some other adventurers looking for gear, but eventually he gets to you. "Good morning to you.  To what do I owe the pleasure?"  He gives you these courtesies but keeps working.  You ask about his services.  He gives you a rundown of his work.  Primarily he makes weapons and armor for adventurers, but he also does magical enhancements to those very same pieces of equipment.  If you can get one of the magic hammers from the Labyrinth, then he can do that for you.  The inside shop has some accessories and other adventuring goods.

You watch him work, curiously, as he grabs a Woodfly wing and a couple of other monster bits and brings it to the anvil in front of him.  You can't quite see what he's doing, as his large body is blocking your view.  He hits his hammer against the anvil a bunch, you could hear that at least.  After a little while he pulls a new sword back!?  How did... but he... that was... hmm...

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

At dawn, same as the others! Check quality of sewer brew. Has it undergone interesting changes?
You jump out of bed, refreshed and ready for anything.  Grabbing one of the bottles of alcohol, you sample it as a test of quality.  Other than being rather warm, it doesn't seem to have lost any taste.

Shiloh will get started at dawn and spend some time walking around the city to get a good feel for its layout.
Cyra follows in turn, though she makes notes of the natural flora within and near the boundaries of the city that are available to collect. If not possible--she tries to research those growing underground.
You get up and bask in the early morning sun.  Breakfast is delicious, and you say your good mornings to everyone else.  Joining up with Shiloh, you explore the town.  When you stop by the market you ask about the local plants.  The answer you get is a little disappointing.  While there is some medicinal herbs grown locally, they are much less potent than what can be found in the Labyrinth.  They are not that useful for adventurers who need the instant healing from potions, rather than long term solutions.

Dawn. Walk around the city to check its layout and most important landmarks before joining the group.
You awaken with a start, looking around for your bagpipes.  Thankfully they seems to be in one piece.  Breathing a sigh of relief you get up and go get breakfast.

The party splits up and goes on separate walks around town, to get a feel for the layout.  The town is circular, revolving around Verde plaza.  Most of the adventuring related businesses are clustered close to the plaza, and the further out you go, the more generic things become.  There is a market where the locals get their groceries, and other shops for clothes, tools, and other specialties.  Even further out, are all the local residences, starting with the wealthy and a large middle class section.  Only at the very edges are there some pretty run down homes, for people who can't afford better.  Fortunately, it looks like poverty is pretty low here.  Outside the town, there are a few farms, but not nearly enough to feed the town.  Most of the food is imported, either by boat or cart.  The town really runs on the wealth generated by the labyrinth.

"...I do, yes. I suppose we should buy some warp wire."
