"Some of these have value."

Check the flowers so I can know which ones are the ones the apothecary said had value.
You think these little purple flowers are good, and these long red ones.  You take a sampling of flowers to bring back.

Shiloh sniffs each flower and takes a bunch of the sweetest smelling ones, then offers a handful of them to Cyra.
You pick a bunch of these wide orange flowers.  It looks like they have a few drops of sweet nectar (Not to be confused with the medicine by the same name) in the bell.  It's probably worth something.
Bianca's eyes widened as she walked into the small yet fragrant flower field. "Wow.." She mumbled, as her eyes took on the entire field.

Take a good look around the room.
You soak up the natural beauty of the Labyrinth.  It's hard to believe the rumors that this place is as dangerous as they have been telling you.  Looking around, however, you can see faint trails going into and out of the forest.  You peer into the trees and sense movement.  You are not alone.
((Acronym fun. Sorry, was in a big tussle lately x_x
Also that is one awesome map! Could I know the map maker or program used? :O))

Cyra took the moment to appreciate the beauty of the surroundings. Knowing her training, it would be quite a ways to see the same beauty later on. As the laughter of the children but hours ago, she wondered if there was a way to transplant these wonders into other areas of growth.
"Sweet smells speak of nectar. I wonder why-..."

Examine the colors of the flowers--then check what Shiloh gives me.
Sense around! Which flowers may I take based on what I observe? :D

((I'll let you in on a secret... I'm butchering the in game maps for my use in MSPaint :x))

The Labyrinth is a sight to behold.  How could it have formed in such a way?  Why is it such a bounty of resources, and yet full of monsters.  You look at the flower you hold in your hand and smell it's fragrance.  You think about transplanting these flowers somewhere safer, but you recall that this had already been a big problem for the town.  It would certainly be a feat if you could accomplish this.
"Hmm... I wonder, are any of these dangerous...?"
Zertch examines the flowers.
No sooner than you said that, you noticed an odd shadows flickering across the field.  Everyone else seems to notice this as well.  Looking above you see four enormous Woodflys!  They must feed on the flowers here and you are invading it!  They flutter down and attack!

Turn 1
Enemies: Woodfly x 4
Allies (In turn order):
Zertch: 28/28 HP, 100% TP
Cyra: 34/34 HP, 100% TP
Bianca: 44/44 HP, 100% TP
Shiloh: 50/50 HP, 100% TP
Dahne: 47/47 HP, 100% TP
Maximus: 28/28 HP, 100% TP
Give an action and if you are front row or back row
((Front row means higher chance of being attacked, back row means you deal less melee damage and take less damage.  Zertch can melee from the back row with no penalty.  Maximus also does full damage because he is ranged.  You don't need to state your row every turn, just if you are going to switch.  There is no penalty/cost for switching rows.  Actions occur in the order above, unless you specify going after someone else.))

"Aha! It's been a while!" Dahne roared in happiness as he took position in the vanguard, taking the large spear off his back and in a fighting stance in a practiced movement.

Front Row. Attack!

Bianca's eyes widened, more in shock, and gave a gave a short cry of.. Rage? As she drew out her Eepee, and rushed her way right to the frontlines.

Front line, attack whatever woodfly has already been hit the most!

Back row! Shoot the most murderous-looking of the Woodflies, pausing to examine them beforehand while I wait for my turn.

[Timezone troubles!
Also...any idea for a character sheet display? ._. I have no idea what Etrian Odyssey is, honestly. Sorry.]

Back Row: Erm, conditionally heal the most wounded person!

Go last!

((Character sheet display?  What would you have in mind?  I could put all the characters together in one spoiler in every post?  And don't worry about not knowing anything about the game.  I think it's better that way.  I am more than happy to bring one of my favorite games to others, while fulfilling my own desire to spin a tale.

Posting shortly.  Now, if I were to follow the game to the letter, you would not be able to change your turn order or issue conditional actions, but... I think we'll do it this way for now and see how it goes.

Oh also, I should have specified.  The Woodflies are butterflies, rather than the other kind of fly.))

Spoiler: Character Info (click to show/hide)
((One thing of note, you are able to use consumable items on other players.  Um... lets just say you throw it in their mouth or something.  I dunno.  MAGIC! :I))

"Oh? Very interesting..."
Zertch examines the flies, before attacking one with his katana, which mysteriously appeared in his hand.
Back row. ATTACK!
The Woodflies look like blue winged butterflies, only with wingspans that match yours. [4]You try to pull off a cool move to draw your katana, but fumble, and it tumbles to the ground.  You snatch it back up, glance around at the party, and hope nobody noticed.

Bianca's eyes widened, more in shock, and gave a gave a short cry of.. Rage? As she drew out her Eepee, and rushed her way right to the frontlines.

Front line, attack whatever woodfly has already been hit the most!
[7]One of the Woodflies darts around and swipes at you with surprisingly sharp legs.  You shield your face, but takes a nasty gash in your arm. Bianca loses 13 HP

[6]Crying out in anger you thrust up at the woodfly that just attacked you.  Your Epee pierces it's wing, and when you pull down, you rip out a good chunk of it.  It's flying around rather unsteadily. Woodfly 1 takes 15 damage

Front and center. Attack the least damaged woodfly.
[10]You watch the woodflies dart around.  At just the right moment, you swipe out at one of them and slice off part of it's abdomen.  It's in bad shape, but it's not quite down yet.  You duck and dodge out of the way of it's retaliation. Woodfly 2 takes 13 damage

"Aha! It's been a while!" Dahne roared in happiness as he took position in the vanguard, taking the large spear off his back and in a fighting stance in a practiced movement.

Front Row. Attack!
[7]You revel in the battle, and bring the point to bear on one of the woodflies.  Like a gun, you thrust out and pierce the Woodfly through the chest.  Bringing it to the ground you twist the spear for good measure.  Woodfly 1 is dead

The Woodflies look agitated at the death of one of their own and attack.  [7]One tries to slice up Shiloh, but he was able to block most of the blow with his shield.  [12]Yet another Woodfly goes after Bianca, and hits her in the back as she gets tag teamed. Shiloh takes 10 damage.  Bianca takes 15 damage.

Back row! Shoot the most murderous-looking of the Woodflies, pausing to examine them beforehand while I wait for my turn.
You pause and take a moment to assess the fight.  Well, it seems as if Bianca is in bad shape, she could probably use a hand.  And what about these pansyflies?  Do they have a weak point.  You glare at one carefully to glean it's secrets.  [8]One of these monsters lands gingerly on your face, clutching on tightly, but not hurting quite yet.  You slowly point your arbalest at it and take the shot.  [9]You fire a bolt right through it, but not before it clenches up and makes some nasty cuts across your face. It falls to the ground, dead.  Woodfly 2 is dead.  Maximus takes 9 damage

[Timezone troubles!
Also...any idea for a character sheet display? ._. I have no idea what Etrian Odyssey is, honestly. Sorry.]

Back Row: Erm, conditionally heal the most wounded person!

Go last!

[6]You ready your magic without knowing who was going to need it.  If nobody got hurt, it would have been a waste, but that was not the case.  Bianca took a few hits, and you direct your staff toward her.  Motes of light surround Bianca, and attach to her wounds.  When they fade away, the wounds are healed and her clothing repaired.  Nifty.  Bianca healed to full

End of Turn: Glad to see that Bianca is ultimately unharmed, her natural radiance invigorates the party.  Royal Veil: Everyone restores 7 HP.

Turn 2
Enemies: Woodfly x 2 (Undamaged)
((Also be happy enemies can't normally crit.  :3))
((EDIT: DOH! I forgot Bianca's Royal Veil.  It is included now.))

After twisting the spear, Dahne spun it back up into an offensive stance, spraying some insect guts all over the remaining foes while smiling. Combat was always fun for him, specially now when it involved utterly destroying the enemies.

Strike at the enemy that attacks me this turn, or at least which seems to be intent on doing so.
