"We must instate some form of protocol here, good fellows. I do believe that the beefiest and best-armored individual at the moment should always go first through a door such as this if the opportunity presents itself. But before that, perhaps Mr. Nihsa has some additional insights about this door?"
Wait a moment to see if anybody wishes to go through the door first. Examine the door. Feel its texture. What is its frame like? What lies around its borders? If nothing, can I go around it? And if so, what do I see?
Zertch examines the door.
"Hmm..."
The door is two solid pieces of wood, as it is double doors. It looks very unnatural, or rather very natural. It looks like it simply grew into the shape of a door, which is unnatural to how most doors look. The texture is only slightly rough, but feels like you would expect wood to feel. There is no frame, per se, the door is flush against the trees and there is no way to see past it. Branches overhead extend out enough that you would not be able to climb over. Short of destroying the door, or felling the trees, there is no way around it.
Shiloh looked at Max, then back to the door. "Very well, I will go firssst. Whatever I sssmell isss behind thisss door." He waited for the others to finish examining it before moving to open it.
Content that everyone has finished molesting the door. You push your way through. On the other side you find another small clearing. It's full of flowers of a few different varieties. This is definitely the source of what you had been smelling. At least one of these flowers must be it, although their scent is blending together very pleasantly. The "Sunlight" comes in through a gap in the tree cover, illuminating the field quite nicely. [7]You're pretty sure some of these are of value to the Apothecary, although you can't remember specifically for what medicine.
You are at D3. The only exit is back out to the East.
