You find Shiloh, Bianca, and Dahne hanging out by the fountain, being playfully poked and prodded by a half dozen children.

"Ah, children of the village. What music they make."

Step over to the group to effectively lower cuteness quotient.

"I'll take 2 Medica, please."
You buy the medicine, secure in the fact that you'll be able to heal yourself in a pinch. You have 60 En left.

"Ah, children of the village. What music they make."

Step over to the group to effectively lower cuteness quotient.
You rejoin the rest of the group.  When the children see you, the fun just kinda stops.  They all scurry away to play elsewhere.

((Last chance to do anything in town.  For the sake of momentum, we should move onto the Labyrinth, or stay at an inn for the night, and then go to the Labyrinth.  It's like 2PM at the moment. If you haven't posted in a while, you will be on autopilot, or someone else can give you actions (within reason).  Is this acceptable?))

Bianca finally manages to react to the children pestering her, by starting to make a heroic pose on the fountain. (Though it wasn't really that heroic, or cool...) And then, of all the people to show up, the man's who's name trumped hers arrived and just. Repelled the children. Harrumphing, she took her foot off the fountain, and gave a silent glare. Eventually, she looked away and up at the sky. "Should we start to adventure or..?"

"Well, theoretically we should wait for the mysteriously quiet and polite fellow in green. The leprechaun, I shall assume. Let us wait for exactly one arbitrary length of time before we proceed!"

Let us be men and women of our word!

"Cyra and I are ready to enter the labyrinth whenever," Shiloh said, sitting on the edge of the fountain to wait for a group decision.

"We can wait." Dahne answered, staring at a bottle of one of the potions he had bought and checking whether he could tell if it had any alcohol.

Wait for the ninja, then adventure.

With the party all together, you head towards where you've seen adventurers coming and going to the other side of town.  You pass through another gated entrance to town and head right into the woods adjacent to the town.  The road is paved and well trodden from daily use.  The woods gradually get denser, but its still quite peaceful.  You weren't quite sure what you were looking for, but you find what can only be the entrance to the Labyrinth.  A large overhang of earth goes over the trees, and the forest just folds into the hole.  It looks like a mouth devouring the forest.

Right at the edge of the overhang a fence blocks the entrance and few guards are stationed at the gate.  They stop you, but let you pass when you present your guild card.  "Be careful.  Keep a careful map and always make sure you can find your way back out."  You thank the guard for the advice and proceed into the Labyrinth.

Floor B1: The First Hope Filled Step

When does the forest end?  When does the Labyrinth begin?  It's hard to tell.  Even though you went through the opening to the labyrinth, you can't see the overhang anymore.  The air above the trees is filled with a pale fog that obscures everything above the treetops.  At a glance it even looks like the sky.  The fog glows and lights up the forest, oddly similar to sunlight.  The trees themselves have gotten closer and closer.  Together with the brush, it forms a nigh-impenetrable wall.  At the moment you are in a small clearing with paths to the East and West.  This seems a good of a spot as any to use as the start of your journey.

You came from the South.  There are paths East, West, and South.

Turn on automap? - You can map this out yourself, or rely on the map I give you.

(Vote 1 yes for Automap.)

Shiloh sniffs the air to see if he can pick up any interesting scent trails to suggest following.

(Automap.)

Peek down both the East and West path to see if there's any obvious difference between them.

[7]You can smell something sweet to the east.  It could be a few different things.

The path to the West looks like it goes a ways and branches off a few times.  The path to the East looks like it dead ends.
