To the apothecary!

((Really? You had to hit all of them?  At once? >.<  Now I actually have to figure out all this stuff))

Shiloh goes to check out the blacksmith.
You head over to the blacksmith.  It's a wide building split into two sections.  One side has an open forge, where the other side is a sheltered shop.  A sign indicates that the shop is for general supplies, and the forge for metalwork.  Shocking.

Hunched in front of the searing flames of the forge is a MAN.  This guy has to be 7 foot tall and made of muscle.  He probably bench presses anvils, or forges.  His lack of a shirt only emphasizes his musculature.  He has wild white hair and unshaven stubble.  He smudged with black marks all over from soot.  He glances back at you for a moment, while he is stoking the fire.  After a double take, he speaks up in a deep voice.  "You're a new face around here.  I'm Dragas, I own this forge, and my son, Jimmy watches the shop for me."  He pauses to wipe his brow.  "If you need any custom jobs, I'm your man.  Oh, and if you find any hammers like that..."  He points over to a rack on the wall.  There are a couple odd looking hammers hanging there.  They look like blacksmith hammers, not meant as weapons, but they had an air of magic around them, an odd glow. "Bring them to me.  I can forge magic into your equipment with those.  Unfortunately, those belong to other guilds, and I can't use them for you without their permission.  The hammers don't last forever.  Apparently they just seem to show up in the Labyrinth sometimes, it's very strange."

((Most armor and weapons will be sidegrades from what you currently have, but you can get extra magic slotted into your current stuff if you find/buy the use of hammers off of other guilds.  Feel free to ask for custom work of course.))

Bianca nodded to the woman's words and gave a short nod of thanks. Deciding that most of the group would probably avoid politics like the plague, and taxes, it would fall to her to deal with it all. Plus they probably expected her to go, as a lady of good stature. "Thank you Reina, we'll be sure to return when we have stories to a new name." And with those words, she walked out of the guildhall, and made her way towards the Radha.

Visit the Radha, enjoy the boring politics, and by that I mean look up available jobs that would be around our skill level.
You enter the large white stone building.  The doors are also of white stone, and engraves with images of more plant life.  Inside, it's well lit from the glass ceiling, while lamps line the walls for night lighting.  The first room is a lobby of sorts.  A decorative cabinet, a bookshelf, paintings, that sort of thing.  Directly ahead, a neatly dressed man is sitting behind a desk reading.  He's blond with blue eyes, and wearing a cream colored suit.  He looks up from his book at your arrival, pushes his glasses up and beckons you in.  "Please, please, come in.  I am Arthur, I speak on the Chieftain's behalf.  To what do I owe the pleasure Milady?"  He bows courteously.

You explain that you are there for the Labyrinth, and ask about any jobs to do.  "It's wonderful to have you and your guild helping.  However, I think you may have misunderstood.  We generally only issue missions for important problems affecting Etria, or progress in the Labyrinth as a whole.  Which brings me to why we've been pushing for more people to help explore.  Within the past year, monsters have become more aggressive.  It was very sudden.  In addition, the Labyrinth is shifting, and old maps were no longer accurate.  Now, the labyrinth has always been somewhat mutable.  What one group may explore is different for others.  But certain landmarks never changed.  The geomagnetic poles have shifted in particular.  We were no longer able to use those to warp deeper in.  Right now, guilds are trying to reacquire these poles."

He adjusts his glasses once again.  "So our primary goal, is to find the source of these changes and correct the problem.  We are offering a large reward to anyone who can do so.  We suspect the problem is much deeper in, but there is little evidence at the moment.  I'm sorry we don't have anything more... attainable at the moment, but that's how it is.  Many of the locals will post jobs at the Golden Deer Pub.  Tasks to collect various materials from the Labyrinth, usually, but all sorts of jobs are posted.  You could try that if you wish to help out."

"Heading to the apothecary in case anyone goes lookin'." the highlander said, turning his back and waving as he left the building.

To the apothecary!
The apothecary is small and cramped.  A wooden countertop sections off the front of the store from the lab in the back.  Glass bottles, vials, burners, alembics, mortar and pestles, and more are strewn about the lab.  It smells strongly of medicine.  Scurrying around the lab, is a middle aged man with graying, shoulder length hair, heavy round glasses, and a white lab coat.  "Do you have the Mint Grass?" "Got it!"  A female voice calls out from the back.  A cute, bubbly girl with pink hair, also clad in a lab coat stands up into view from behind a table.  She hands off the glass jar full of green grass to the man.  He takes a pinch of it, and starts grinding it up.  As he does that, he takes notice of you.  "Hello, can I help you?  Do you need any medicine?  Our supply is a little low at the moment, but we still have the basics."

((I'll put this in the OP when I get a chance.  More become available with time, and collecting stuff.
Medica - 20 En - Cures 30 HP
Amrita - 150 En - Cures some Energy, TP, Mana, whatever. (I'm still working on the exact amounts)
Theriaca B - 30 En - Heals all status ailments
Nectar - 100 En - Revive at low HP))

"I'm Dahne." the highlander greeted in an upbeat voice, more of a "countryside" habit than anything else. "And sure thing, those'll come in handy." After a few moments idly wondering if any of the potions would still work if spiked with a bit - the amount of said "bit" being a highly subjective idea - of liquor, he made his order.

Three Medicas and one Theriaca.

Before leaving, he decided to ask something. "Any missions or tasks you're giving out to adventurers?"

Drugs GET 10 En remaining.

The man was a little taken aback by your politeness and shyed away a bit.  "Mason, I'm... Mason."  The girl cheerfully chimes in, "And I'm Judy!  Nice to meet'cha!"  She gives you a wink and a smile, and continues with her work.  "Well, we always need more supplies.  It's not so much of a job than we'll buy whatever you bring us.  Lemme show you what to keep an eye out for."  He grabs a couple jars and puts them on the counter.  He points to one filled with tiny white flowers.  "We use the extract from these flowers to make Nectars.  It's pretty incredible really, to be able to emulate revival magic.  Although it still leaves you in bad shape.  And these grasses are crushed up and are part of Amritas.  And these..."  He runs you through a dozen different plants and herbs to watch for.  You think you can identify them if you see them... probably.  "In any case, it never hurts to bring something here anyway.  Every now and again something new is discovered.  Worst case, you bring me a dandelion.  Haha!"

((Edit: Blah, keeping the perspective correct.))

The adventurer didn't seem to mind the lame joke. "I see. I'll keep an eye for 'em." he replied, putting the potions away in his pouches and leaving at least one of the healing ones right by the side of his liquor - not that he'd ever mistake one for the other. Dahne waved goodbye to both of them and made his way out of the apothecary to check if the rest of his allies had already finished what they had to do around the plaza.

Biacna gave a short bow, and nodded to Arthur. "Thank you for explaining the situation, I'll be sure to return when my guild has found something of note." With that, she left the Radha, and waited for the rest of the group to return.

To the Apothecary! Politely purchase some DRUGS. One Nectar, to be specific. Never know when you need to wake the dead, do you?

Then head out to the tavern and see what's happening in there.

You each make your way to the fountain to relax and wait for the others.  The children gather around and shower you with questions.  "wow! are you adventurers!?"  "have you been in the labrinf?"  "are you strong?" "are you a princess?" "you're so pretty." "you're all fuzzy!" "can I touch your ears?" "you're just like a kitty."  They continue to tease and shower you with admiration.

To the Apothecary! Politely purchase some DRUGS. One Nectar, to be specific. Never know when you need to wake the dead, do you?

Then head out to the tavern and see what's happening in there.

You make your introductions to the Apothecary and his assistant, no doubt including your fabulous full title.  Pleasantries aside, you spend the last of your money on life giving medicine.

Nectar Purchased

Although the Golden Deer Pub isn't at full capacity, it's still early for many patrons.  The place has a warm, homely feeling.  The bartender is a dark skinned woman with long black hair.  She wears a little jewelry, but stays short of being gaudy.  A half dozen patrons are lounging around, eating lunch, or getting an early start on drinking.  It wouldn't be hard to strike up a conversation if you were in the mood for socializing.  Against one wall is a large board with job postings. Bring me a wyvern egg, Floor B8. Kill off the ant army so I can collect materials, Floor B12.Defeat the demon lord and end his reign of darkness!, Floor B%^.  These seem pretty tough... Relocate the pure Spring, Floor B1. Bug Extermination, Floor B1Fresh Crabapples, Floor B1 ...much better.

As they're being harassed by the playful children, Dahne's reminded of his brother and how people always thought they were twins due to their similar attire and size - at least until his brother grew stronger than him, anyway. The highlander frowned and bit his lip for a moment before just giving in.

"We're adventurers, yes. Not been to the labyrinth yet, but I'll tell you some stories about our adventures if all goes well." he said confidently, smiling and messing the hair of one of the boys.

"Hmm... Where to go..."
Zertch looks for the nearest Apothecary.
You stop by the apothecary and get introduced.  Judy shows you the available medicines.  You have 100 En.
Spoiler: Medicine (click to show/hide)

Socialize! Blend in! Hope somebody buys a handsome young man such as myself a drink.
You sit down and chat with a Landsknecht munching on a plate of spaghetti.  "You're new here right?  I've already made it to the second floor with my Guild, we're taking it slow and steady.  My advice; Watch out for crabs and such.  Anything with a tough shell.  We were trying our usual tactic of 'Stab the enemy dead', but we were barely scratching it.  We brought our alchemist in the next time though, and roasted the crab in it's shell.  We ate good that night."

"Yesss, no, yesss, I sssupossse I am fuzzy, yesss, I know," Shiloh said, answering the question he believed to be addressed to him. He knelt so the one child who asked could indeed scratch his ears.
You lower yourself and the child squeals with glee. "yay!" She tries to grab them with her thumb and index finger, but your ears involuntarily twitch out of her hands.  Laughing, she tries again and again, playing the 'game'.

As they're being harassed by the playful children, Dahne's reminded of his brother and how people always thought they were twins due to their similar attire and size - at least until his brother grew stronger than him, anyway. The highlander frowned and bit his lip for a moment before just giving in.

The kid cheerfully nods, "yea!  tell us everything, it'll be so cool!  there was this other adventurer who said that he saw this thing... and then... but he went POW..."  He drones on about his story.  You have no idea what he's talking about, but you nod and smile.

Shiloh smiled at her and let her continue playing with him. Human children were a lot more innocent than human adults; they just saw a large cat to play with, while adults... they would usually only see a strange creature to fear and stay away from. Only the adventurous or veteran types like his new guildmates wouldn't shy away.
