Ok so... basically things got real screwed up at some point. Last turn, BMM tried to heal Tyria but Tyria is way up at the top, well away from where BMM was. Then Glow tried to heal Dol, which should have happened but didn't. So... basically, Tyria should be downed I think and Dol should be more healthy? So yeah. I dunno exactly what happened, but things got screwed somehow and I don't know exactly how...

Yeah I'm really confused as well, um.. Since I'm having a hard time figuring out what in the blue hell led up to this mistake, I'm just going to continue being an easygoing GM and give Dol the heal and Tyria can stay up. I swear I'm getting the hang of this, hopefully this type of confusion won't be as regular in later maps. :S

Suggestion: downsize the map sprites a bit so you can put names under them. This will also help players identify which enemies are where so they can coordinate attacks properly.

Has the added bonus of meaning we don't have to update their locations in the HP area every time we run a turn.

That's not how it works, you can't scale images down without ruining them and making them unrecognizable.

--> You wouldn't be able to tell what that is on the map.

But what I CAN do is upscale the map tiles, double the canvas size for the player sprites and add names underneath. Which will probably take a while since I'd need to do that with all the sprites. Then manually rebuild the maps in Tiled with the resized sets. I'd have to do this with all the other future maps I've made as well. This is the neatest solution.

OR I could just place a layer of colored reference letters over them, which would cover up the sprites a bit but it'd be a lot less work.

If the latter is the easiest, then I suggest going for it. Could probably just get away with initials, unless there's duplicates, to reduce how much of the sprite they cover.
