Terrain is annoying enough to keep track of as it is without having to deal with it changing on you. Plus, you could start arguing flavor etc but not going to start that now.
While I understand what you're saying, I don't think it quite applies. My point was, regardless of how good a buff is, it's almost always going to be more useful to give someone a second turn. Note I said alnost, yes there are some cases where this isn't true, but I don't think there are enough situations that would justify making a whole new class.

A green type of mage has been thought about before. One that has access to staffs and performances, but not dancing/turn refreshing.

Well then Soly should come up with some clever ideas to base it around other than buffing to make the Time Mage class fun, if that idea is really so abhorrent.

Yeah I think it's an interesting idea.

I... It's not that it's abhorrent, I'm just saying that I don't think that it's needed. And also that the current version is unbalanced. But nevermind. :/

Now now, how about we test it before throwing acussations of OPness around. If the GMs are alright with the testing, I'm not changing anything until we see how OP it really is.

Or I could say how I view it based on my experience both playing and GMing.

Regardless of any playtest, I'd seriously encourage you to not have a third thing promote into Lore Master because that's just getting ridiculous.

I agree with that sentiment, it's weird having one promotion be common to 3 classes.

Yeah, that promotion was kind of a placeholder. Haspen proposed a more offensive one that I like better: Manipulator: Time & Anima magic.

Also if the current Time Warp is OP, I have a backup plan.

I thought something other for Time Warp: extend or reduce by 1 the duration of any number counter of an ally or enemy within 2 spaces. Can't affect death counters or Doom.

And for Manipulator here's what I thought:
Hand of Entropy: use 1 quality of an Anima tome to change an adjacent tile depending on the Anima subcategory of the tome. Suggestions for changes welcome :v

I'm adamant about Time Master's Rewind tho. At most increase the turn cooldown.
