Some questions about reagent filtering
« on: August 14, 2014, 12:04:32 pm »

Is it possible to filter a reagent by quality?

i.e.

reagent: X (is less than masterwork, even if I gotta make 4 reactions for is normal is superior etc.)

Is it possible to make sure a reagent has been flagged for melting?

Not much more is needed for a custom auto-melt reaction :)), without this it would have to be a custom reaction with a feeding stockpile to avoid excessive !!FUN!!  :-\.

Mmm I cant see a way to get this to work, which is a shame since it's a cool idea.

There are a number of arguments available to put on reagents but quality is not one of them.

I also cant see a melt designate flag token, and that vanilla reaction is hardcode so we cant examine it or make it automatic (which was plan b, auto and take only from pile set to no masterwork, which is how i currently do it without the auto)

I wish I had something cool to say about this.  Because it's really cool.

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

We should come up with a big list of stuff that we want Toady to make moddable.
