Would anyone want to play a play-by-post game of XCom set in a world where you would start in a garage in a small city and grow an organization dedicated to fighting toe-to-toe with superpowered individuals?

Organization Name:
City of Origin: (City is preferably imaginary, though it can be a real-life location)

Money will be rolled for, which you will then use to buy a garage/retired fire station/retired police station/section of the sewers/etc, your starting supplies, and hire soldiers.  Underlying mechanics will be based upon the original XCom, though with the maps being top-down with  a number in the lower right-hand corner that designates time unit cost to move on the square, and having psionics replaced with a 'powers' rating that would determine which chart would be rolled on for the person to possess a superpower.

To those who are wondering why I didn't just post a turn in the medieval Xcom game I was starting to run: I had run into a brick wall with determining how the enemies would work.  Here I can just pull up a basic "minion" formatted enemy and tweak it, while there it was a pain trying to figure out what I could use as different classes of units.

I had an idea and ran with it.  I've created the world map.  For some reason, I have decided to have Alaska and Greenland at war with each other at the start of the game.  Geography was created with this tool.

My though process was, if I remember correctly:
1) 'What if I made Alaska its own country?'
2) 'I'd have to get a new map.'
3) 'Greenland will have to be its own country as well.'
4) 'Why not put in some historical countries?' (Added the Nordic Kingdoms and Macedonia)
5) 'Maybe some fantasy ones as well...' (Added Rohan at this point)
6) 'A couple modern day ones could be used...' (Russia and Mali)

Then I fell into the formula of drawing from Historical, Fantasy, and Modern countries/provinces, using names of towns and cities within them as the city names.


Started up a poll since there is no consensus upon which city will be started, and the highest number of votes for an organization name is 2.

You don't simply kill Russian Superman... Unless he is Sean Bean.

If posible, I suggest A.E.G.I.S as a more serious organization name, just so the GM doesn't want to kill us.
