the only books are the ones on Chinese-english learning however you are able to get a tiny bit of information on the basic idea from the dictionary. however when you go to the door you see that theres no way to pick the lock from this side

We're mostly poking at you because it's difficult to understand what you're trying to say at times.

deciding that its time to escape you charge as hard as you can at the door. just before impact you realize you never actually checked if the door was locked the whole time you've been here. but its to late now you slam into the door at high speed and it swings open with ease as it is indeed unlocked. your momentum is barely slowed by the door and you fall forward landing on the hard ground and bruising your left upper arm.

You stand up and take in your surroundings. you find yourself at the start of a 50 meter corridor. on the ground in big yellow letters is written time to escape but beware theres plenty of obstacles in your way and most of them will kill you tread carefully and good luck.
