Bata wheels her horse toward the shore and kicks Anepo into a gallop. She aims carefully as he bears down on the hapless pirate.

"I warned you about that stance." Jora said as she downed the pirate in a vulnerable area. They were still alive, anyway.

She took off and vaulted up the shallow wall moving towards the village, taking the stairs for the rest of the run.

Jora was quick to notice her words echo by the pirate's axe. She was alive, yet felt the consequences in pain.

-a strange pain that led those around her--the pirates and all--to notice her breathing become very apparent. Fatigue? It was a strange sight for one who had just cut down a sailor much bigger than her.

Bata is struck by an arrow. She yells in pain but manages to loose her own shot before turning to check the wound in her side. The arrowhead stuck itself in her flesh, luckily a bit shallow due to her leather armor. She sets her bow across her lap and tries to pull it out with both hands.

She cries a bit and decides to leave it in for now. :c

Bata turns a bit to look behind her at the Kokiri, running along the boards with her axe shouldered. She draws another arrow from her quiver and calls out.
