They trudge through the dark jungle, brushing past thick leaves and ramming straight into unseen trunks of trees.
"Disgusting creatures.. making us traverse in the dark..." the Princess whines as she pretty much holds on to Aland who seems to be one of the people more careful not to hit anything due to his delicate wings.
Eventually however, they come across a relatively open area that should be flat enough to camp in for the night. In only around 30 minutes time, too.

Set up camp, same set up as last time.

They set up camp and fall into slumber finally after a long day.

~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~
Everyone wakes up to the smell of food... delicious food that permeates the air through the jungle smell. To those who go out and see, they notice the princess cooking breakfast over a fire. Roasted berries over a layer of edible and flavorful leaves, all topped by roasted nuts.
"Who's hungry? It's the start of a new day, so no need to eat dry rations, right?"
"Of course not your highness. But one moment. I need to speak with my companions for a moment." Gwynovin said as she dragged Shai'ven and Aland off to the side.
"She's a princess... Why would she know how to cook? Much less what to cook in a jungle... Did we miss something? Can either of you determine if we lost the Princess and she's been swithced with something else?"
Anderson, of course, had no need for food.
"It's a problem because she might not be the princess. Think about it... What Princess knows how to cook and scavenge in the jungle?"
"Books, probably. I assume Princesses have books. Besides, I was in a meditative trance all night and detected nothing untoward."
"Of course they have books. Books on politics and war and court manners. Books on how to do labor that the hired help is there for? Unlikely. Can anything get past your trances?"
 "What are you two talking about?"
The Princess suddenly says as she kneels next to them.
Aland remains awkwardly quiet as he stares intently at the princess.
Detect evil on the princess.
Aland remains awkwardly quiet as he stares intently at the princess.
Detect evil on the princess.
Aland stares into the princess with his righteous gaze, but senses no malice inside of her. Just innocence and happiness from the girl. She turns to him and smiles. Truly, it seems apparent to him that Princess Lily, Heiress to the throne of Bravenheart, seems to be exuberant despite her father's death and the dark situation; she even pays no heed to the hot, moist and dense jungle filled with bugs.
But, something about her still seems strange. Not evil, but strange, and anyone could feel it if they examined her long enough as he has.
