"What's this "Crystal River" thing?" Anderson asked the bartender.

He looks up at Anderson.
"It's this, well, strange river that seems to grow many types of crystals in it for some odd reason. Some say it's magic, but I say it just looks damn beautiful."

"I didn't ask what it looks like. Just tell me what you want and where this river is. Oh, and what you're willing to pay."

That was a little far to travel alone. Anderson turned to the people who helped him kill the goblins ((assuming they returned to the tavern to get their money, anyway...)).

"Well, what do you say? Several people can carry far more minerals than one person. Could be a profitable trip, especially if we come across a cart or something."

Izalith smiled broadly at this "Fifty gold piece per each! A fortune is now within our reach! I'm sure there are dangers galore, but better rich than to be poor! Let us go and be on our way, then we'll come back and get our pay!"

"That's a very odd expression to use, but I'll assume it means you'll choose, to come with us upon our quest, and really that is for the best."

"Good. Just watch out for the Crystal Fish - nasty lil' buggers, they are. Quite beautiful though."

They find it indeed - a wide river with crystal clear waters. At the bottom appears to be a plethora of crystals in rainbows of colors and sizes. They can even see fish with crystal scales swim about , making it one of the most beautiful sights they have ever seen.

What they are searching for is a rare mineral known as 'shadowmeld', a glowing navy crystal where fish lay eggs by due to their magical properties to conceal small objects in shadow. When refined, the raw shadowmeld can be ground into shadowmeld dust that can conceal somebody in the darkness. There are at 10 goldpieces a clump.

"It's been a long day. Perhaps we could rest? That's what I'd say."

Attempt to rest 8 hours if the group allows it.
