Kinda related: https://warisboring.com/iran-and-russia-are-apparently-fighting-each-other-in-syria-6f9d79b911da#.syfvxymjv

And apparently Assad is selling his country (bits of it anyway) to Iran, and the Syrian regieme is a lot less stable than I realized.

Eh, bombing your allies on purpose can hardly be classified as passive aggressive

Well, bombing them "accidentally" would be no?

Hard to tell if he's showing off a little (most likely not, given the situation), but yeah, that's pretty badass.

A wild dual-AK-wielder has been spotted!

reminds me of the FSA fighter in that one webm that always gets passed around 4 chan; he stands up in a street hip firing some big fucking machine gun, and gets a dozen shots off before he gets double tapped by some former ba'athist fucking commando or something down the street

There's nothing friendly about friendly fire

Anyone firing an intermediate cartridge rifle without a stock is an idiot, with almost no exceptions.

How come? Just wondering. Other than possibly balance issues and likely control issues. Does look a little odd for them to have no back portion, or stock if you will.

The balance and control issues are pretty much it. Even hitting something with a machine pistol firing a comparatively tiny round is an impressive feat. Stockless rifles are for people who want to trade ease of carry for something that's almost entirely useless.

Well, suppressive fire maybe?

I'm sure you still want to have solid control of it so you don't accidentially hit the people you're fire-suppressing for.

It looked mostly like showing off to me honestly, rather than any tactical move.
