Buggy Militia Commander
« on: August 08, 2014, 02:01:15 am »

Recently my militia commander has ceased eating and drinking and now stands in my barracks, flashing with the hunger/thirst marks and also a "?". The rest of the militia goes and gets food as needed. When I ordered the militia to a station, everyone but the commander went. She has a clear path to the food stocks, but refuses to move. Any ideas?

Yeah, I had a mason that did that for a while. I ended up collapsing a tree on him and he dodged, then seemed to fix himself. Have you tried re-assigning someone else3 in his position and unpausing? in either case check the mantis bugtracker, it might have more info.

EDIT: Keas restricted to tropical forests where they belong.  Those evil, EVIL, foul little things.

Edit: The baby murderer became a friend of the fortress, which started a loyalty cascade, and now most of the squad is dead.

Yes there was a recent bug about dwarves being stationary if a job item was moved. Either a piece of his gear or food/drink in this case. I thought it was fixed in .06.

She ended up fixing herself, but I'm not entirely sure how. I realized after I made this post that she had just gotten her first kill, a defenseless goblin I let loose in the barracks, and perhaps that shocked her. But on her thoughts it said she took joy in a slaughter so I don't think that was it.
