Bio: Once there was a girl who lived in the sky.
She wasn't alone, of course. Many people lived there, riding through the clouds and between islands of floating land on creatures called Loftwings. Each individual living in the land above the land possessed a deep, spiritual connection to a single Loftwing, keeping them as a close friend and companion throughout their lives.
This girl was no exception. She met her Loftwing young, as most of her people did, and spent much of her happy young life learning to fly upon its back, searching the islands in the sky for any herbs her mother might find useful or simply exploring to satisfy her own curiosity. Many were the memories she had of sitting at the edge of one of the islands with it at her side and commenting cheerfully on the shape of the clouds below, or crowding together into the tiny building which passed for their village hospital as the girl learned the healing arts. Even her memories of training to fight in the sky--as many of their young people did--were fond ones, with her beloved friend encouraging her and helping her excel despite her dislike of violence and doubt that such warlike training would ever become necessary.
The girl was young, happy and carefree. She never expected harm to ever come to herself or to her dear Loftwing.
She became overconfident, attempting tricks and maneuvers she had only before seen attempted by the most skilled of the Loftwing riders. She believed she would be able to accomplish them easily enough, with the help of her friend. She thought that she could perfect them, that she would be able to return to her village triumphant, that she would be able to inspire pride in her teachers and envy in her friends.
She was quite wrong.
The girl was flung from the Loftwing's back as it crashed into an island hidden in one of the thicker clouds, screaming out of fear for her friend's life and out of fear for her own as she plummeted through the cold white fluff and towards the ground far below. She closed her eyes, begging someone or anyone or anything to help her.
As it happens, what helped her was a particularly soft thatch roof, doing much to cushion her fall. She lay atop it, dazed but for the most part miraculously unharmed. Then she heard something snap beneath her. Then she fell into the stable below.
She landed upon a startled roan horse as an unfortunate groom was attending to it, prompting the beast to kick the man to the side and bolt from its stall. It dashed out the open doors of the stable, knocking several more men to the side as she clung helplessly to its neck, sobbing in terror, unable to get the dumb animal to stop running as the stable owner shouted crude insults at the back of what he insisted was a fleeing horse thief.
And, unable to get the remarkably endurant equine to stop, she's mostly just been clinging to it ever since.

Personal Skill: Gentle Touch - Terrifying as her current experience is, her training back home and genuine desire to help drives her to give her all when tending to someone's wounds should she get her horse to slow just long enough. When wielding a heal staff, she restores an additional +5 HP
Personal Skill: Wild Ride - The mad dash of her mount is a mixed blessing. While a horrible, terrifying experience, it DOES make it an exercise in futility to strike at her as she flies past. She gains +15 Evasion when adjacent to an enemy.
Personal Fault: It Never Ends! - By this point, the poor girl's too exhausted and frightened to do anything but cling helplessly to her horse as it charges across the landscape. When she uses all of her MOV in a turn, -2 to DEF.
