Bio: Bata grew up in the native Gerudo fort. She was very much at home there and as a young girl she took to making pots, and later working with leather. She always loved working with her hands, and was as much an artist as she was a craftswoman when she made something with them. She crafted all her clothes and jewelry herself.
Her tenacity as an artist transferred well to her martial studies when she came of age. In less than a year she had put down her tools and picked up a bow. She quickly learned the technique, but as time went on she began to realize that she had surpassed her fellow Gerudo. She spoke to one of the elder women and, after some heartfelt farewells, set out into the world to seek mastery, whether by mentor or meditation she was never sure. She fell into mercenary work because of her inherent talents, helped by a slightly altered perception on artwork after she realized it was common practice for Hylian craftsmen to
sell their creations.
Aside from her homemade clothes and jewelry, satchels, recurve and quiver, her only other possession is her mount Anepo, an unusually calm and stony animal, almost businesslike. After some time of wandering on her own she began to notice, disturbingly, that he was only ever affectionate after a battle, especially the bloody ones. More than once she has tried ridding herself of this animal in favor of another, but just when the deed is nearly concluded circumstance always precludes it, and Bata finds herself again riding the animal. She is convinced that it is somehow cursed.
