I've only ever been able to see rendermax in screen shots. It crashes out under Wine in Ubuntu. Some nitnoid thing I don't have installed properly. Every time I fiddle with it though I break something and then either DF wont' start, or the launcher breaks (usually the launcher is the main problem) or the whole thing runs super slow. So I just don't tinker with it any more. :)

It is working for humans, and all other races. Races dont affect if Therapist works or not. What is the issue on your end?

I think that "harder learning" does not properly "work" with races other than dwarves.

It was fine when changing caste didn't properly give you the learning boost, but if that's been fixed, then the castes multiply skill experience by 4, quite a big boost, to make it very clear that you have to give castes to your specialist workers.

any specific reason vs 22?

I made my own version for 34.11 based on v22 with one tweak for priest castes that displays a lil diff

Specific reason: Splinterz is doing the DT, he is also doing the GUI and knows a lot about Masterwork. If he thinks that there is an update I should include, he'd probably let me know. ;)

I had figured the warlock update was to be wrapped into the 30days thing. I guess humans took up a bit of time though. All in all I'm quite happy, it's a well thought out race. Very Strip-miney and sell it all to turn it into whatever they want. I have to delve more into caravans and merchant guild though.

I could have done the Warlock update, but either the manual or the tutorial fort/flowchart would have suffered. The fort and the flowchart took 3 days to make.

I guess it should go here, seeing as manual improvement was a part of 30-days thing and so the v6.
There are leftover entries in the manual itself - Expedition system was removed, but not the inactive hyperlinks for those two buildings and a mention in the Chemist's. Philosopher Garden has a similar problem, and so, I guess, some other non-existing buildings.

EDIT: Also, minor thing such as in 'Getting Started' section of Warlocks part in Embark profiles spoiler there are errors of formating  - extra linebreak between Goals and Tips of 'Vale of Tears', Bonus 1 and Bonus 2 being the same indent level as Goals and Tips.
I fully understand that such small things are really small in comparison of all the big work that's been done on the manuals and whatnot, but I feel we could use a little cleanup work (and that I don't really know how to fix html's)

I am sad to announce that the callendar slowing is not quite flawless.

My men spend way more time doing "eating" and "drinking" than in normal time, resulting in a fortress with way less work done "per tick". Also, while eating, they get thirsty, and hungry while drinking (because it's a 'per tick' increment thing) as usual, so they sometimes even eat>drink>eat>sleep>drink. It can become a bit infuriating.
While it still allows for more work per season, it feels way more like a waiting game than it usually does.

Added to that weird things (some might not be completely related or at all).
Sometimes, they will take a long time between tasks, or in the middle of one (storing suff into a new bin is a noticeable one).

My hunter/bow man has equipped all his stuff, but refuses to go get his arrows (even when enabling only arrows in the "ammunition" screen). Might very well not be linked to the 1/8 calendar, but it never happened to me with dwarves and bolts when doing the exact same thing.
In the end, he can't fight, and won't hunt, saying 'no job'.

I was so happy with this calendar speed thing, because I usually don't plan well enough and get swarmed before I am ready, but it is not making it fun to play for me with 1/8.
Was somewhat OK with 1/4, less noticeable downtimes, but I suspect it's just because it's half the "extra" time spent eating.

Anyway, this is not based on any science, just observing my small band and finding that many tasks. Might be wrong, and just the game deciding to make them do these things as intended, so I would like to know about other people's impression about 1/8 calendar speed.

EDIT: Scratch all the above, Firefox (yeah, I know) is using 1.6GB of ram, making the whole computer react a bit odd to some input, which could have been what made the game act odd.
I'll try again tomorrow, without that 'thing' taking my computer hostage.

I played 4 years with 1/2 speed, I did not notice any tasks taking longer. Than again, it was on constant 150FPS, so I probably wouldnt have noticed anyway, even if they need double to time to drink... it goes by too fast.
