Alex would take the gun and the moon ammo. He would ask for any names for explosion man.

No likely real names can be provided at this time, Kibbel replies, and the names given by the media are numerous, but none that the guy himself has identified as.

Anywho, you take the gun and its weird ammo, and instantly feel about twice as powerful as you did before, as a personal estimate.

Carrie hides by his car.  When he comes out and gets close, she attempts to either disarm him or break the arm that he would draw the gun with.

You make a beeline behind the dude's car and wait for him to come out. He does - in quite a rush, too. He gets quite close before you choose to activate your power - this is deliberate on your part, to minimize the error on the programmed movement. You spring from your hiding spot, and, just as planned, the guy steps back, decreasing his distance from the spot you stopped time at. Before he can even tell what's happening, you are on him (or, rather, your body is - you are slightly ahead, waiting for it to catch up, making the violence feel a tad unsatisfying). Your body punches him to the ground, drives its foot into the guy's chest and pulls his arm hard enough to completely dislocate the shoulder. The man screams as your body jumps into your position, and you are in control once more. He seems a little distracted by his dislocated arm, and not really trying to shoot you or anything.

You know, you think you could probably abuse him a little more if you wanted to. Doesn't seem like this guy's about to put up much resistance.

Carrie takes another "look" around. Makes certain that he is in no position to shoot her, completely removing the gun from his grip if she can.

"So whose blood is that down there?" if he attempts to respond with anything less than full disclosure, she pulls on his arm a little more.

You steal his pistol before he's got a chance to react. Sweet, got a gun! Let's see Glazzie fuck with you now, eh?

As you ask the question, he stares at you for a moment. A million thoughts visibly run through his head, but it seems like the most important couple of facts, those being that you obviously have powers and seem to be quite the unsettling child and thus probably likely to kill him if you don't like what he's saying, is not lost on him.

"I'm just the cleanup!" he says, wincing. "I didn't... urgh... like, cause that blood, okay? And not the shit, vomit or piss either! Truth be told, I'm still glad there was no semen," he shudders, groaning in pain.

"I dunno, that's what I'm saying! I'm the cleanup! You'd be better off asking the guy that did it, you know? I think somebody went down there and killed the shit out of somebody, and then somebody shat himself, so somebody barfed, and so on. It's, like, one of those domino effect things. I think there were some dead guys down there, and they told me to wear a suit if I went in there or I'd be fuckin' dead in a couple minutes," the guy explains, getting much more talkative.

Well, this would probably be cordoned off by the police if he were a general contractor. "You're going to make me ask the obvious question aren't you?
*sigh* Who hired you?"

"None other than little Donnie Brown, girl," he says, presumably expecting you to recognize the name. You've never heard of it. "When he asks me to do things real nicely, well, I try to do them, y'know?"

Alex would head home. Explosion guy was a dead end, but they'll slip up eventually.

Steven makes a quick meal and searches the parahumans biards for stuff about birdbrain.

Stuff like damage resistance and regeneration.

He also searches other local capes to disguise his online activity.

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

You settle in Kibbel's apartment, sitting down on the couch and cradling your submachine gun appreciatively as you consider whether to watch some TV, and whether you need any snacks if you are going to.

Steven makes a quick meal and searches the parahumans biards for stuff about birdbrain.

Stuff like damage resistance and regeneration.

He also searches other local capes to disguise his online activity.

Birdbrain, the boards say, seems to have superhuman strength and durability. He's lifted a car (with visible difficulty) once or twice in his career, which is a useful thing to know, you suppose. As for his defensive capabilities, they say he hasn't been seen bleeding for more than about a second or so, and nobody's ever seen him break anything or even do so much as indicate that he's feeling pain. One incident has had him falling fifty meters after getting shot, landing in a roll, then taking off immediately afterward. So it's pretty safe to assume he's got quite a bit of durability on him. As for regeneration, nobody knows. The lack of bleeding would point to it, but that could just as well be him not getting injured by things in the first place. There appears to be no real consensus on how his powers work, and hypotheses range from garden-variety physical enhancements to secret Shaolin techniques making him impervious to harm.

You also look up other people - Kasplortch, who you note hasn't attempted any robberies for the past two months or so (having maintained a schedule of one robbery per week, either in Edwardstown or in one of the surrounding towns, for about half a year before that) and, despite always leaving plentiful evidence in the form of her own viscera at any crime scene, still doesn't seem to have had her name found out on account of presumably having no criminal past before triggering. Furthermore, in an overly long and ranty thread that appears to have been locked a couple of months ago, several people continually appear to have argued about whether she's not the most powerful parahuman who's ever lived, with one side citing an example where she was shot in the head by a teller (who had seized her gun in a moment of desperation) during one of her many bungled heists and reappeared only a week later to try a similar thing elsewhere.

Then there's Glazzie, who is discussed occasionally as extraordinarily unpleasant, and seemingly only interested in fighting other people, and also apparently able to control eyes. She, like others, seems to have stepped down activity a little recently. Skulgrat Unitasus is the only other non-Eddite cape who gets any coverage, and he's only nominally a local.

Project Ed, meanwhile, appears to have a wealth of information about them, and the latest Dissent threads appear to be getting some heavy moderation done on them. Probably that bit where she seems to have killed about a stadium's worth of people. Lots and lots of posts about that, most of them largely unhelpful.

Bubbles, you note, is completely unmentioned in any board apart from one thread that appears to be trying to fabricate a meme about him, to the complete indifference of most of the other forumites.

Finally, there's a rumor that a Protectorate cape or two is about to be transferred here for a couple of months, ostensibly to get that Project Ed thing locked down and prevented from escalating.

Overall, quite a bit of information to be found out there. This was just what you came up with in an hour or so while searching parahuman-centered forums.

"He's this guy," the man attempts to shrug, but then is violently reminded that his shoulder is currently dislocated.

"You... a hero, then?" he asks after a few moments of catching his breath and getting his bearings. "New at this, right? No suit or anything. Decided not to bother?"
