"Hey. Why are you in Mr. Black's house?"

"Uh, well, he called up the PRT to check if we knew anything about where his daughter might be. He's a bit concerned. Kibbel sent me here to talk things over with him, maybe figure something out. Couldn't be arsed himself, of course," she explains. "Why are you here?"

There's something setting of Kyle's sense of danger but right now, he's so tired he doesn't care. He nods.
"Yes, thanks for the help."

"Great! See you in the morning, then. I'll have figured out a plan by then," Jones says, and Joyce gives her a disappointed look before bidding you good night as well. The two of them then leave, which leaves you alone in the storage room.

"I could... for an answer."

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

"I still havent decided what I'm going to do with myself, so without proper incentive, why should I tell you?"

"It would help me work out new ways to work these things. Until today, there has been a drought of those. Times have been uninspiring lately," Ilo explains.

"Yeah, only so many ways you can make people see the face of God, right?" One Eighty contributes to the conversation.

"Alternatively, I could pay you as well," Ilo shrugs.

"I could... for an answer."

"The answer... well, that would be the choice where you get hurt."

The girl sounds like she's smiling. You don't know how you can tell, exactly.

"Money is more or less meaningless to me right now. I am only twelve after all.  So giving any amount of money to me would be irresponsible on your part and suspect on mine.  You'll have to come up with something better."

That really makes me want to know even more.

"Well, I kind of killed his wife. Anyway, I know where she is. I just saw her a while back in the football stadium."

"Oh! Cool. Nothing like astronomical coincidence, I suppose. Are you here to apologize or something?" Officer Church asks. "Or finish the job, maybe?"

"Money is more or less meaningless to me right now. I am only twelve after all.  So giving any amount of money to me would be irresponsible on your part and suspect on mine.  You'll have to come up with something better."

"I could get you a plastic handle of vodka," Ilo says. "You will be the toast of the sixth grade in no time at all."

"Or any other cool grownup thing. How's a purse gun sound?" One Eighty suggests. "Plus a bunch of ammo, too."

"you say you dont want to fight, but you threaten violence to conceal a single word.

That really makes me want to know even more.

She draws even closer, now actually whispering into your ear from behind.

"Let me put it this way. Do you... suspect why I took Grant over there with me?" she asks slowly, indicating the cowboy guy. You notice he's retreated a few more steps.

Alex would attempt to make this sound like a joke.

"Im afraid all my suspicions are being replaced with new suspicion's as time goes by.

but judging by the way hes backing away im beginning to suspect he is actually afraid or at least rather wary of you or what you can do... and thats just making me want to know even more."

"You know too much."
Alex would attempt to make this sound like a joke.

She smiles for a moment.

"Well, if you're gonna kill him, though, can you at least do it when I'm not around? I mean, it'll be a little inconvenient to explain otherwise."

"He's... not afraid, I'm sure. Just... well-informed, let's say. As for why I took him along... well, number one reason is he keeps creeps away. Number two... he's discreet. Number three... draws attention. And number four, his hourly rates for dates are... rather reasonable, all things considered. And that's just one of the... services he can provide, I hear."

She sighs.

"He's such a gentleman about all this. Still trying his best to stick with the two of us. I'm sorely tempted to try and take you out just to make sure I can look him up later, maybe explore the rest of his catalog. Guy's really grown on me."

Kyle goes to bed.
That was hella suspicious. I mean, seriously. They were way to nice at that point. I hope they aren't cultist that will sacrifice me to there dark gods. Well, at least if they are I hope they're the type that screw you before they kill you. There ARE worse ways to go.

"I... dont even know what to do with this information...

Are you telling me he's running an...escort service?

"Grant's kind of a freelance guy... does the legwork himself, lives free, y'know. Very open-minded. Doesn't run his mouth, no complaints. Great work ethic, as you can see. I think I might be falling in love with him already, though I'm not sure. I've only known him for a day at best. Heh," the girl says in a voice suggestive of a state nestled somewhere between dreamy and drunk.

"I find it a little funny that I'm telling you all this... just putting things into context, I guess? I feel I owe that much to you, given that I may or may not kill you in the... next two minutes or so, I guess? It's kind of a shame, because you really have a cool power, I think..." the girl rambles on, resting her head on your shoulder thoughtfully. "But yeah. Point is, Grant's a guy who's in over his head right now, and he's done good work thus far, like I said, and we need more of him in the world, I think... if you really did hurt him, I couldn't possibly forgive you, just so you know."

Kyle goes to bed.

You dream many hopeful dreams of life turning out to be more exciting in both the philosophical and the physical sense, and before you know it, you are woken up in the morning by a rather harsh knock on the storage room door.

"Hey, Kyle! You drink coffee? I got some!" Jones shouts from the other side of the door.

Despite the somewhat noisy conditions of your awakening, you feel surprisingly well-rested, although the wooden floor was not entirely kind to your back, you note.

"As fascinating as Grants virtues and story are... I was actually curious about the 'why' he was backing away.
More specifically the 'how' he was expecting you to attack me and the 'why' he felt he had to back away.

The fact he felt he had to back away at all leads me to believe it would be rather impressive..."
