Alex would go back to Kibbel's apartment, looking on google street to view Mr. Block's house.

You decide to leave quickly and quietly before the festivities resume, finding your way back to... well, your apartment, it is assumed. It's Kibbel's apartment, technically, but you live in it, so it's essentially yours.

Also, 2006. Google Street View isn't a thing yet. You'll have to wait 1-2 years for it, apparently, or resort to actual detective work if you want to get shit done. You do manage to get a pretty precise location of it from the map, so that's cool.

"Th-then what would be... b-be a good way... f-for it to really be g-g-good intentioned?" She asks with extreme uncertainty, looking quite sad though she was trying to hide it.

"For one, it probably ought to start with people being reasonably ignorant of one another rather than one girl just straight-up cold reading the other one with a decent level of detail and deciding to pounce, since that's, like, pick-up artistry or something. It shouldn't start with a long-term plan in mind, either. Maybe the shy girl does the classic thing and makes an overwrought plan to impress the new girl. She's new, so she's not part of that whole background of abuse, which is already a whole bunch of points for her seeing something in the new girl. Thing is, if you're gonna make an escapist story like that, make it empowering, inspiring! That's what escapism is for, no? We're not supposed to identify with the new girl, since she's supposed to provide the wish fulfillment. It's the shy girl we really want to see improve, no?" Rita posits, gesturing a bit more now that her hands are free. "And it's easier to figure out how a shy girl could scramble to catch the attention of a more regular person than the weird manipulative hoops a more regular person would need to jump through to get through to somebody really withdrawn."

Kyle nods.
"Alright."
As he begins to walk over to the indicated man he thinks on if he has any friends he could get to help with this.

As you walk over to Jones, who you're pretty sure is a woman (though doubt nevertheless creeps in as you draw closer), you try to think of any friends you have. Naturally, there's not many, considering your general habits. Todd's your friend, but only because he's incredibly low maintenance, and even then he sometimes forgets you exist. You also have some acquaintances, but you don't see much of them anymore. Todd might have friends as well. And that's a somewhat speculative "might". You suspect he might largely because he needs to get weed from somewhere, since his attempts to grow his own have been nothing short of utterly abortive, and you're not certain that type of friend would just come over and move books because he asked them to. But who knows?

Deciding on another tack Steven walks directly over to the man without breaking eye contact and stops only a few inches from his face where he continues to glare at the man from point blank range.

You walk over to the cowboy, getting all up in his face and putting on the most intense glare you can, inhaling deeply the air of his personal space, which smells quite strongly of oil.

The cowboy, in turn, responds by giving you a quick, yet soft kiss on the lips, his mustache tickling your nose a little, though it too feels softer than you would expect. He must have some really good shampoo for it. The girl next to him giggles slightly uncomfortably, although the cowboy's expression remains as stony and mean as ever, still fully returning your glare.

"Heck no, I don't gamble unless my victory is almost certain. And I don't want to risk a two on one, so I'm going home." with that she turns around and begins to walk away, all the while trying to memorize any identifying features of the two, so she could recognize them in civilian clothes.

"Oh, come on! Just a practice bout? Ilo's a wimp, he's not gonna get in on the action," One Eighty says as you turn your back on her. You don't quite manage to identify her facial features, though you do note she's unusually tall, presumably white and well-built. Ilo's no trouble at all to memorize, since he doesn't actually have a civilian life as far as you or anyone else knows, as you're fairly sure someone would recognize him if he did, considering he hasn't got a mask at all and his face is pretty prominently featured on TV every few months or so.

"She is absolutely right. I would not. I prefer to watch," Ilo affirms the statement.

Completely unruffled by the cowbows action Stevens face breaks out into a malicious grin before he promptly bites the cowboys nose and wrenches his head sideways.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

You manage to completely forget that you've lost most of your teeth, resulting in you playfully gumming the cowboy's nose and twisting your head a bit. His expression does not change. The girl coughs uncomfortably. His nose tastes like strawberries, you are not displeased to note.

Also, people are beginning to stare.

Alex would smile, going outside to "borrow" some gas from a nearby car.

Oh yeah, that reminds me. I wonder if my dad's buddy know where I live. The one who live near by and sells him weed sometimes? Actually... Never mind, Chris is kind of... ghetto.... How did I think that Jones is a girl? Maybe I stayed longer at Todd's than I should of. Fucking Todd.
In any case Kyle walks up to Jones.

"S-so it would be… b-be a case of th-the shy girl… reaching out i-instead? L-looking for a w-way out… a-and trying with someone wh-who hasn't b-b-been around long?" Selina seems to be a bit happier with this, though feels it would be difficult to write about in a few ways.

It makes sense that you would forget that. Also, you don't really feel like perpetrating actual violence for some reason.

((Wait a second... if i forgot i had no teeth and tried to bite his nose off... doesnt that count as an attempt to perpetrate violence because i mistakenly thought i still had teeth? Wouldnt that mean it should have been prevented to begin with by my strange desire to not be violent?))

Maybe you didn't forget you had no teeth, then.

Or perhaps the peaceful haze enveloping your brain was perfectly aware of you having no teeth, and it was merely the conscious you that did not recall your toothlessness.

Or maybe I just thought the logical result was too amusing to not write up.

Or perhaps, even if you did have teeth, the bite would have been downgraded into a mere cute nibble.

In fact, that last one is the excuse I'm going with.

((Well if paradoxes cant solve it i guess nothing can, on with the show.))

Determined to emerge vitorious Steven places both his hands in his pockets then puts them behind his back and fumbles about a bit to disguise his actions before discharging a loud but hopefully harmless sonic boom directly into the cowboys face.

Alex would smile, going outside to "borrow" some gas from a nearby car.

Sounds like a very reasonable idea. However, the problem is that most cars are parked out in the street, have alarms and some of the less sensitively alarmed cars appear to have locking fuel caps. Not something you can't get through with a little determination, but it does occur to you that perhaps it would be easier to just buy some, at which point you realize you don't have any jerrycans handy, either. Man, you were hoping stealing would be less work than this.

"Sorry, not today." Carrie calls over her shoulder, continuing her walk towards the nearest stadium exit, "Im still recovering from a run in with Glazzie. See you around... maybe, or you'll see me, whichever

You leave without further ado, leaving a healthy dose of mystery behind as you do so. Or at least you would have, had you any form of disguise. In any case you manage to get to the exit right as something explodes out by the people in the field. Should you even bother looking their way?

Oh, wait, you don't have to. You quickly look back with your powers instead. Something has blown up indeed - it's that dude from the VIP box. A whole bunch of injured people appear to be around him. One Eighty seems impressed. Ilo does not. A fetishy cowboy-looking guy stands alone at a respectable distance from him, still glaring in his direction.

Hm. All it took was you stepping away for adventure to start happening. Who'd have thunk it? Also, that guy who spat in your hair has made a successful getaway, because you'll be damned if you can spot him anywhere.

Jones is definitely not that well-kempt of a lady, you notice as you approach, but she smells awfully nice for somebody who works in a library. Oddly, not like flowers. More like fresh bread. You are about to wonder why, but then she turns to you, armful of assorted books in hand, the side of a particular stack pressing up against her face.

"Yeah? Can I help you? Got books to carry, so I'd like it if you were concise," she says, her voice a little strained.

"Or maybe her going to new places and meeting new people. Maybe not necessarily inherently nicer people, but people she has no history with. A clean slate. Kind of like an anticipation of going to college in a way," Rita says, looking wistfully into the distance.

There are many things that your powers are. Loud, as you have correctly guessed, is definitely one of them. Highly noticeable is another. What they are not, however, is with an adjustable intensity, though you did not quite realize this a few moments ago. You do tend to be quite absentminded sometimes.

However, the blast you do manage to create uniformly in all directions is indeed understated, although quite enough to blast the cowboy off his feet along with anybody else in the vicinity, including the girl and a significant portion of the people in the pile who'd gotten up and dusted themselves off. The blast doesn't even sound quite as impressive as you recall from previous times. A whole bunch of people seem to be injured, although not the cowboy himself (at least not to the degree that you'd think he was more than just really ruffled by it), and after he gets up he resumes glaring at you. The girl, on the other hand, seems to have landed much more poorly, as she's currently whimpering in pain. The people who just got blasted more people at them in the middle of the pile don't seem to be faring much better. Probably lacking in air.

Uh, whoops.

"Whoa! That was cool!" One Eighty shouts as she gets up. She seems to have picked you out pretty nicely. Not very difficult, as you seem to be the only person entirely unaffected by the blast. "Did you see that, man?"

"I certainly felt it," says Ilo without inflection as he lifts his podium off himself and takes a minute to check if the electronics are okay. Some of the spheres propped up on the poles appear to have cracked significantly. One's fallen to the ground and broken into many pieces.

"Actually, I'm here to help with that."

"Well then, let me show you where to put these," she says, handing you the entire armful of books. It's pretty damn heavy. You are promptly led up a flight of stairs, then into what looks like a storage room. There's already a considerable pile of books right up against one of the walls.

"Right then, you put the books there at first, and when the whole load's done, we'll get to sorting them," Jones says. "It's going to be a long day, trust me."
