Carrie powers though, no point in dealing with this mild irritation if she don't have to, pasively if she can.

Kyle shakes his head.
"Nah, I'll find some place my self. Thanks for your help today."

"Er... Short during Spring a-and Summer... L-l-long during Fall a-a-and Winter..." Selina was getting a little more confused now... where were these questions leading towards?

Kyle shakes his head.
"Nah, I'll find some place my self. Thanks for your help today."

"Hey, after what I did to you, ferrying you around a little was the least I could do. Anyway, hope you manage to arrange something. Edwardstown isn't the best place to be sleeping on the streets, I hear. Take care now," says Todd, then drives off.

"Er... Short during Spring a-and Summer... L-l-long during Fall a-a-and Winter..." Selina was getting a little more confused now... where were these questions leading towards?

"Ah," Rita says, looking into the distance for a moment. "Well, uh, moving on, then. You said you... write, right?"

Keeping one hand on the wall at all times and closing his eyes as necessary steven makes his way towards the field.

Once he is out on the field he slowly makes his way towards the group in front of Ilo's podium but moves slightly to one side instead of joining it.

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

Kyle nods and waves goodbye to him.
Hm... what to do now... Do I have enough cash for dinner? I should have enough cash for dinner.

The obvious question to reply with would be "what would you consider dinner?" You're fairly certain your definition, as coming from a homeless, unemployed minor with few future prospects at the moment, should be loose enough that you could technically obtain a free dinner with a little work.

Other than that, you've got a little bit of cash on you. Not much - about thirty bucks or so - but definitely enough for a decent dinner if you feel like it.

Carrie powers though, no point in dealing with this mild irritation if she don't have to, pasively if she can.

Forgot to ask, but by "powering through" do you mean continuing the advance?

Carrie powers though, no point in dealing with this mild irritation if she don't have to, pasively if she can.

You continue onward, trying not to use your powers as much as possible. As you draw closer, Ilo stops his button pressing, instead looking at you. One Eighty also approaches, and even speaks while twirling a small stick in her hand.

"Hey, girl. What's shakin'?" she asks in a plainly sarcastic tone.

Keeping one hand on the wall at all times and closing his eyes as necessary steven makes his way towards the field.

Once he is out on the field he slowly makes his way towards the group in front of Ilo's podium but moves slightly to one side instead of joining it.

You head down into the field, where you manage to locate the pile o' people, next to which you stand. You notice that weird little girl moving toward Ilo and One Eighty. Is she up to something again?

Kyle smiles.

Time to score some lunch, then. Where to and how much you wanna spend?

"S-sometimes... um... th-though not v-very often..." She seems to go a little red at discussing this, embarrassed a bit even.

"What do you write? Poetry? Prose? Wish fulfillment stuff? Deeply artistic passages that only you get? Screenplays? I must know," says Rita. The ordered sandwiches arrive, and she wastes no time, digging into hers pretty savagely.

Selina eats hers as well, trying to delay having to answer as she seemed to be getting a bright blush on her face which may indicate at least partially what she was thinking about. Eventually, she gave a small answer.

"R-romantic… things…"
she replied in a quiet, embarrassed voice.

Curious about what the little weirdo is up to Steven moves closer and watches curiously as to how Ilo and one eighty react to whatever shes doing.

Thank goodness for fine (well, for your pay grade, anyway) dining. You feel good about yourself at last, even if you only have about ten bucks on you and no place to stay currently lined up, since the Greenland Motel has a pay-for-the-day kind of unusual scheme going.

Perhaps you could somehow monetize your abilities. Surely even Alzheimer's Lad should have some marketable application in today's society, right?

(Also, inner monologue is good. Helps me characterize better. Keep at it, good fellow.)

Rita looks at you with great interest as she swallows her current bite.

"Mm, thematically appropriate. Girl-girl romantic things, or not that specific?"
