"Geez, these guys are out of it. They don't even notice the cops. Are they on something Ilo made? And where are Ilo and One-Eighty?  Is this just a distraction? Jake wonders as he watches the scene play out for a bit before moving away towards the other side of the stadium to see if anything was happening over there. If this was a distraction, it seemed to be working. Just in case, Jake looks around to make sure he isn't being followed by a cop. Especially not that asshole cop. Or anyone else for that matter. This was not a time he wanted to be followed, especially if he had to slip his mask on at some point.

Selina nods.

"S-so... its alright if I come with then? I uh... c-could use the distraction... " Selina gives a sad smile, but doesn't seem like she would be upset if Rita said no in the end.

Kyle lays there stunned. What. The. Fuck. He spends the next thirty seconds debating whether seeing if whatever kissed his eye was worth the death or rape that may come from it. He decide that the answer if yes and opens his other eye.

You open your other eye and see... darkness. Not the ceiling, which was the last thing you saw before you went ahead and closed your eyes, but darkness. A shape above you, something plainly not human by any stretch of the imagination. Its limbs you cannot count, and its mouth oh god it's on your open eye, things go black. A cold wetness, a transient feeling of violation, and for but a split second the thing sucks air inward while you haven't shut your eyelids - your eye begins to feel treacherously loose right before you manage to close it again, and the thing atop you gives up, seemingly unable to get what it wants. The bed rustles a moment as the creature adjusts its posture.

Selina nods.

"S-so... its alright if I come with then? I uh... c-could use the distraction... " Selina gives a sad smile, but doesn't seem like she would be upset if Rita said no in the end.

"Um... well, I dunno if it's such a great idea, to be honest," Rita says, looking away a moment. "Though maybe we could adjust our plans a bit, go to one of the old haunts, take you along for good measure. I'm sure the others won't mind much."

Kyle tries to sit up. Maybe if he's fast enough it will be stunned. Or maybe it will flat out murder him. Or maybe he's passed out in an alley and he never really got focused from the thing.

Many possibilities indeed, but none seem as real as what does happen - as you sit up, the creature moves, adjusting its posture with mechanical precision, adapting perfectly to your current position in such a short space of time that you hear only feel a small whiff of air, wind from its rapid, spiderlike movements.

"...Haunts? Um... wh-where were you all pl-planning... t-to go too...?" Selina is somewhat confused now.

"Yeah. Haunts. It's a figure of speech. We were planning to go to the woods originally, but it might get a little rough in there, so I'm thinking we'll just go someplace in town instead if we're gonna take you along. Maybe one of the clubhou-er, well, maybe not those. But, then again... you been to a clubhouse before, maybe?"

Selina slowly shakes her head. Her parents had been adament about... not going to clubs or bars or anything close to what could be considered a place of debauchery. But... if she was with Beth atleast it would be safe she reasoned. Rita wasn't too bad either.

"Um... wh-wherever you all want to go... I'll c-come along." She gives a small smile, more happy than sad this time.

Clearly running multiple missions at the same time is a terrible idea.  The epic battle to see which team can cock it up worse has escalated again.

And Larry kinda gets blueballed in all this; just left with a raging bone spear and no where to put it.

Alex would head to a nearby PRT office to check if they had any pictures of the dead construction workers.

This was not a time he wanted to be followed, especially if he had to slip his mask on at some point.

You leave those two stoners surrounded by police as you walk off to check out the other side of... wait, hold on a second, there's somebody following you. A guy. Looks pretty average, you guess? You turn around to get a better look, and the guy looks at you for a moment before beginning to pretend rather poorly that he isn't presently stalking you. Oddly, a little girl also appears to be following behind a little further - similarly to the guy, she also rather conspicuously begins to pretend she's not at all interested in where you're going.

In any case, you noticed the guy just as you were about to turn a corner - you're pretty sure you see another Edmobile in the distance, approaching similarly to the previous.

Kyle contemplates what he should do. He finally decides to speak.
"Please stop trying to suck on my eyeballs."

As you open your mouth, your arms are suddenly clutched by what feel like two cold yet fleshy, clammy limbs, held fast as an equally cold and fleshy tube plunges into your mouth, forcing itself down your trachea, making you gag as it snakes into your breathing passages. You start to choke, and tears start welling up in your eyes as the pain shoots through your body. The proboscis-like thing forces itself deeper and deeper right up until it reaches your bronchi - at this point, the creature seems to discover that its searching appendage is decidedly too large to proceed further, and withdraws with a rapidity that makes your lungs deflate right back into your pharynx, and tries your esophagus next, providing you with a quick, extremely painful endoscopy as the slick tip of the proboscis proceeds downward, filling your throat with a wet coldness as it inches toward your stomach.

It feels like forever has passed when it finally reaches down there, only to draw back when it touches your acid-laden stomach lining. The thing emits a low hiss, leaning toward you a little as it slowly withdraws the proboscis once more. It seems about to draw out of your body entirely, but goes for a quick poke around your nasal cavity at the last moment, feeling its way around, poking toward the direction of your eyes, but finding no convenient avenue of access. Seemingly disappointed, it draws the proboscis out, then lets your arms go as it retreats soundlessly like a shadow in the night, though you feel its jilted, dejected presence no more than a meter away, still watching, waiting for you to render yourself vulnerable once more.

Your parents wouldn't worry too much about you being gone, would they? After all, should things go in the worst possible way, they've got a perfectly good replacement on hand, don't they?

"Great! I'm sure we'll have fun," Rita says a tad distantly. She seems to be considering something.

Ignoring the eddites who got out of the van steven continues following the teen in the hopes he will find an unguarded entrance.

Your attempts at tailing the guy go rather poorly when he turns around and notices you. You attempt to pretend that you're actually doing something else, but you don't think he's buying it, really. You also notice a little girl following the same guy, you think. She seems to be following your lead in the attempt to look natural, with similar results.

Carrie begins to follow the man following the kid.

You attempt to start a train of tails, but your attempts are cut short when the teenager the guy's tailing looks over at the guy, and the guy, in attempting to look natural, looks over at you for a moment. You're pretty sure he doesn't put two and two together as he sees you - especially with how you expertly managed to look away and scratch your chin ponderously while you regard a nearby building entrance.

Alex would head to a nearby PRT office to check if they had any pictures of the dead construction workers.

At the PRT office downtown, the receptionist quickly points you in Officer Church's direction - while surprised to see you again so soon, she seems amicable to your request, given that she didn't exactly expect you to actually come over and help her with the whole police work thing as far as you can tell. She shows you the pictures you asked for, explaining that the dead aren't construction workers - rather, they're skinheads, or so it's thought - only one of them was possible to identify, the other one was reduced to a thin red paste, pretty much, as you see from the pictures. Dude's got some serious power, no doubt.

In addition, she points out another interesting bit of data gathered - another skinhead, though completely unrelated to the first victim, was blown into bits some time later, also by this same guy, it seems - the rough description of the attacker fits, dude with a leather jacket, sunglasses and a hat, basically, kind of tall. Similar report from the officer in the pawn shop, though it seems that guy might have invented some interesting details while he was down and out.

Info's not bad, you believe. Not bad at all. This guy can probably pulp you, you have a rough idea of how he dresses, plus some other things, you guess. You got to see very artistic pictures, too.

"Fuck you, I'm leaving."
Kyle begins the undoubtedly funny buissense of walk out of the room with his eye closed.

"Neither of you are very subtle, are you? What, you gonna try to mug me with the help of your kid sidekick over there?" Jake calls out, making sure the man and child can hear him. He turns to face them, but backs past the corner a bit so he can try to keep the Edmobile in his periphery.
