Kyle nods.
"Okay. Be sure to be ready to tell me. And feel free to add a few more wraps if you feel the need."
With that Kyle allows himself to lose focus.

"Um... s-so what do you guys do when... your not here?" Selina asks, trying to understand the people she was with a bit better.

Lynn thinks a moment.

"Not much, I guess. All four of us have got jobs and all. Other than that, we maybe go to some parties. Used to go to rallies, too, but not so much anymore," she says, shrugging.

Kyle nods.
"Okay. Be sure to be ready to tell me. And feel free to add a few more wraps if you feel the need."
With that Kyle allows himself to lose focus.

She does five more rings of duct tape around you immediately, looking nervous as she takes a step back, holding her breath. You exhale and look right through her, letting her shape go out of focus. Slowly, her image starts to split into two, and becomes increasingly transparent as your eyes take in the space right behind her, a vague outline of her standing before you. Your thoughts become uncentered, and you start to admire the beigeness of your apartment wall idly. It is a thing of perfect blandness, the minor flaws, scratches and knife marks adding a bit of character to the thing. You wonder if any spiders live in your wall. Probably, you'd say. Good thing you're probably not one of those arachnophobic people. What kind of foolish fool would be afraid of something as blatantly harmless as a mere spider? Well, provided there aren't any parahumans who can enlarge spiders around. In that case you'd probably do well to be afraid of spiders, and nobody at all would blame you, since spiders do tend to be a murderous, psychopathic lot that just happen to be incredibly useful to dispose of undesirable things like mosquitoes and flies due to their relatively small size and unceasing bloodlust.

Whoa, you must have spaced out there for a moment.

Kyle blinks.
"Can you turn invisible?"
He tilts his head slightly looking towards Mary.

"O-oh... um... s-so should I um... clean the place a bit? While your all gone?"

"Nah, most of us have got days off today. I think maybe Lloyd has a shift tonight. Other than that, we're probably going out with Rita in a couple of hours. Nowhere to rush, nowhere at all."

Kyle blinks.
"Can you turn invisible?"
He tilts his head slightly looking towards Mary.

Who?

Hm. You seem to be tied up for some reason. Not very well, and with duct tape, but nevertheless tied up. That's a bit odd.

She remembers his face, but she doesn't really care.  "Carrie... please."
"I don't care go away."

Carrie continues to focus on herself.  That guy that killed her mother was taking bullets like a champ, that implied some sort of healing factor. She may have something like it herself.

Indeed! You probably don't drink nearly as much these days as you did in middle school, but somehow this kind of escapade still happens on occasion.

You suspect that your newfound superpowers may be involved this time, though, considering you don't particularly recall indulging in substance abuse today.

"Um... m-mind if I c-come with you? I... I don't want to be alone..." Selina is pretty afraid.

"You'll have to ask Rita. She doesn't like new people coming along usually," Lynn tells you, finishing up with her sandwich.

She remembers his face, but she doesn't really care.  "Carrie... please."

Your dad, pushover that he is, is pretty easy to block out, and doesn't successfully manage to grab your attention as you focus on yourself. Such focusing, however, nets you no enlightenment. You do suspect that, since you haven't really started healing yet as far as you can tell, it can be safely said that you don't have regeneration capabilities beyond those of a healthy child. At least not noticeable ones. Otherwise you probably wouldn't hurt as much as you do.

Kyle tries to concentrate his lack of concentration on the wall. ... That was a weird sentence.

Carrie sighs and glares a the ceiling. So wasteful, she should have been able to beat eyeball lady and... she just needed to wait.

"Carrie, please talk to me."

"Why?  I have nothing to say."

"But why did you go and..."

"I don't remember."

"When are we going home?"

Jake goes for another walk to see if he can find any Project Ed hoodlums...er, members. Gathering information before his mask arrives would be useful so he can act decisively once his identity is concealed.

Kyle tries to concentrate his lack of concentration on the wall. ... That was a weird sentence.

You wish to concentrate less upon the wall? You do feel like you could, and the wall does become a little indistinct momentarily. Hm.

"O-okay. Shes taking a shower right now. Um... should I wake the others?"

"They probably won't appreciate it if you do. And there's no real reason to yet."

She stretches and yawns.

"Though I guess there's nothing to do until they wake up. Hang back a bit. I'm going to go find something," she says, then gets up.

Your father continues to be confused and dismayed by your lack of desire to communicate with him, and eventually gives up and walks off. The next few hours, though certainly longer for you subjectively with intermittent hops out of your body to keep yourself even slightly amused, during which you get very acquainted with the hospital room you are moved to - more than you were before, anyway - pass without much incident. As you suspected, you have a great deal of fractured bones, but no observable neurological abnormalities aside from limited amnesia.

At any rate, you get a lot of splints and casts for your trouble, and are eventually released. Your dad is there to pick you up, though he does look more than a little bit haunted at seeing you.

"Yeah, that's it.l" Alex would wait for Kibbel.

Officer Church shrugs and sits down as well. She attempts to strike up some kind of conversation a few times with you, but that goes nowhere fast, not least of all because it's difficult for you to talk properly for long. Half an hour later, Kibbel's still not back, and you're starting to feel a little bit neglected.

Jake goes for another walk to see if he can find any Project Ed hoodlums...er, members. Gathering information before his mask arrives would be useful so he can act decisively once his identity is concealed.

You hit the streets, emboldened by the fact that soon you'll have a rather awesome disguise to do some proper super-revenge in, and your worldly nature guides you well, as soon you come across a group of kids dressed rather colorfully for the season, their expressions dull and their conversations monotone - pretty much as classic a Project Ed crew as any, some of Ilo's people, no doubt, not even bothering to hide their affiliation. They'd probably find you amusing at the very least.

Dissapointed by the lack of options available Steven resorts to his backup plan.

Waiting for nightfall he heads back to one of the pawn shops in the seedier parts of town and uses a payphone to anonymously report a suspected burglary attempt on the store. That completed he conceals himself nearby and waits for the police to arrive.

Should the police arrive he waits for the cruiser to begin passing his hiding place and fires a pair of directed shockwaves with one firing behind him to brace against the recoil and the other firing into the cruisers back wheel in an attempt to flip the vehicle and non-lethally incapacitate its occupants.

Rather than do something silly like place yourself in cover after phoning the police, you merely sit down at a nearby bus stop not far from the pawn shop known only as Tom's, pretending to have so many communicable diseases that one could not look upon you in good conscience even if they were trying to.

Much to your dismay, however, the police seem to be arriving from a different direction than you have expected, not passing by your hiding spot at all. A quick look reveals that they seem to have cruised up to the pawn shop and stopped - the resulting shot you'd need to take is less than optimal, at least for aiming at the back wheel. And now one of the officers appears to have exited the car, walking up to take a closer look in order to make sure that no shenanigans are happening within the shop. On the other hand, they still don't see you, and maybe they'll pass you by when they leave. Or maybe you can take a shot anyway. That's quite a few possibilities right there.
